The Wood Frog.

Otherwise unremarkable, wood frog populations can be found in Alaska, where the wood frog has the ability to freeze solid during the Alaskan winters, entering cryptobiosis, a near death state where almost no vital activity is present. In the spring, when the ice thaws and the frog defrosts, it resumes normal life function until the next winter.

Also Bruno’s Casque Headed Frog

One of 2 venomous, and yes I did say venomous, frogs discovered. However they do not inject their venom through biting, they do it through headbutting. They have spines on the top of their skull, and when threatened they headbutt the would be attacker with enough venom to kill 80 full grown men.

Awesome. I didn’t know such a thing existed.

And this thread is entrapment. Nevertheless!

The Colorado River toad (Incilius alvarius), also known as the Sonoran Desert toad, is found in northern Mexico and the southwestern United States. It exudes toxins from glands within its skin, including the psychoactive substances 5-MeO-DMT and bufotenin.
