FT bodyblock a predator...

Predator needs a bitch-slap move, like at the end of Pred 87, when he straight up launches Arnold. “Bad idea” indeed.

I say just remove collision.

Yes, Macelaru was there, as a matter of fact, this Predator fell for it twice! I’ve recorded the whole thing:)

It’s a bit annoying and unrealistic, but I think it’s a nice tactical touch. Pred dominates outdoor, FT has a trick to use indoors.

Heres the the problem. Pred goes indoors. Pred dies. Ya thats fair and good gameplay design.

I shouldn’t be punished with death for one mistake.

Pred should be careful. It could be a bait. Gotta be aware where FT us and decide if it’s safe to go in. Jungle - pred territory. Building - human territory.

Pred should bait back. Walk in and out right away to see if anybody tries to block the door. If so, Pred has a target to fight outdoors. If not, go inside and claim a spine.

Don’t go into building where there’s only one exit. Just snipe from corners if door. I know it’s tough to get those shots because collisions sometimes mess things up. Practice makes perfect.

Just had some weak ass FT try to get me into that little hidey-hole on Excavation. Accused me running away because I wasn’t an imbecile and didn’t follow them in.

“FIRETEAM ELIMINATED” and I worked on getting that achievement for moving through the trees.

I’ve played one member of the group as the Predator before and ripped his ass apart with my FT, so I’m glad to see he is in need of polish on both sides of the game.

If this tactic is a base part of your gameplay, I’m going to vote you out of the tribe.

Replying to my own post - when I say “base part” I mean that you do not attempt to advance the mission at all, only hide and try to trap the Predator.

Gambling with a lose condition because it has one possible outcome that cannot be countered is just foolish, weak, and speaks to the confidence you have in yourself to get to the helicopter if you play otherwise.

I’ll use the tactic if it falls into my lap, but I’m not going to scheme the entire round with that hope in mind.

Predator DOES need some sort of shoulder charge, that can be followed up with either a flying elbow and perhaps a leg-drop.

The solution is simple.

In second wind the predator should be able to push the fireteam.

I know it almost always only happens to newer players, but that’s not going to encourage them to keep playing. You can’t fault them for assuming that a Yautja can push through fireteam players.

it may be avoidable but so is limit spam in KH3. I still say its bad game design to have a you die scenario in a multiplayer game regardless of the situation.

Agreed, but it’s been around for a while. Everyone gets used to it. I like that it adds a big to mind games. I’m not opposed to changing things, but I still like it

I dunno I kinda feel like this is a self correcting error. Anyone who makes this mistake more than once either kicks themselves for not thinking, or…doesn’t really think to begin with.

You realize you can blame yourself for falling into this trap? Like you NEVER run into a full squad that are in the building, and especially with only ONE entrance.

You fell for that not once, but TWICE. Blame yourself man, not the game.

Here is a hint for you “Baby Preds” - Predator can hit through walls.

Swing your combi or use your PC splash damage.

Use it when you see the FT pitching a tent to camp. 😇

I don’t agree with the tactic, but I also agree with what you’ve said, which is don’t fall for the same trap twice.

There’s a level of personal accountability for Predators to use what they experience in one game moving forward into the next.

Wall glitch for melee won’t be around for long. Don’t get used to it
