But honestly im just trying to make this mechanic i proposed for body shots a thing cause it would make it so the balance changes wouldnt need to happen so rapidly as they were and are.

Mostly it will probably be like small value changes such as… 0.20 increase in damage instead of 20+ more damage lol… obviously this was example that speaks truth.

The whole point is to eliminate the devs time from constant un needed changes that are just stopping them to making this game great… think about it deeply… i know u can figure it out that its only way lol… then after this other mechanics come into play…

Best example was one shot plasma… i loved it cause it made sense lol… player could have just move away and go inside to take cover …

But the one shot plasma got changed cause main mechanic was lacking… the final cog…

What concerns me about making damage systems like that is that its gonna start feeling like csgo. Ima awp pred but because I barely caught his hip it doesnt hurt him for shit. Obviously its not gonna be as drastic as that but the point is that you are adding a ton of room for rng and inconsistency into a game that kind of needs consistency to some extent to be satisfying.

It wont matter cause in the end it will be players fault not the games fault…

Cause the game will at that point be fair play lmfao… its players fault if he cant hit his head lol.

I mean. It seems simple on paper but I gurantee you in practice its gonna feel like dogshit for all parties.

This game concept and game is advertised as Asymmetrical game which stands for pure RNG and some scripted or consistant content or code…

So yeah there can be some coded things but mostly should be RNG

Obviously its been half a yr now lol and most of us will need time to adjust OBVIOSULY… as it is big change but needed change.

Its a needed change to make the game not boring and feel satisfying.

If they do do a damage system like that then we need a smoother recoil system across the board. And assuming the damage carries over to pred, that mudding up hitbox bs needs to be fixed because missing headshots because the ft is in an animation that the hitbox doesnt properly align with is pretty buttcheeks.

Like i will have to lie to you if ive said… that my time playing fireteam only was satisfying in any way.

No it wasnt… only satisfying part was somewhat melee 1v1 the predator.

But thats it… the shooting feels unrealistic… missions as well…

I mean what ur telling me is what i expect for devs to do that too lol… its obvious lmao…

Plus current hitbox is also broken as it is of right now.

hitbox is need for change mainly firstly…

Look at the game we have now and tell me you can honestly expect them to know these things.

If you want to propose changes like this, you need to also propose solutions to cover all the holes you are leaving. Make it crystal clear so the devs have some idea of how to fit this into the game without just shoving it in on a whim.

if illfonic does all there test from ps4 players cause they are the base… it doesnt matter what PC players think… were just here to make lives miserable.

I mean u got a point but am i really obligated to fully explain them what to do? Im not the one working for them honestly… im just a guy playing their game a customer who knows what is stopping the game to be fully enjoyable…

And i honestly semi think they are able to fix hitboxes… with enough work its possible.

But yeah i mean im aware what you are saying but we wont get far with like piece by piece either… sure it leads to success but the game will probably be like at its peak and start falling and varrying in player base once half of shit gets added piece by piece.

I just gave them a semi demo mechanic that obviously speaks for it self to what they need to add in the game…

its easier to balance say 3 preds vs 8 ft then 1 pred vs 4 ft…

If you feel obligated enough to make a post about balance changes, it is just as much your duty to make sure that those changes dont blow up in the devs face if they implement them.

Think about it like a war. The devs are on the front lines. They are the soldiers. We are also in the field, and command(illfonic and sony higher ups) is watching via satellite. Command is giving the devs orders, but these days command is more interested in using that satellites big picture view to zoom in and micromanage each squad individually. Both command and the soldiers lack the foresight, or the drive to see the big picture. We are here to warn them. To suggest alternate angles of engagement. To see the big picture. No one else can or will do it. Its up to us.

The thing that also makes me still believe in them is… they all had to start from somewhere… that being their director who had to make arragments with Sony to give them perms to use the predator title and all the copyright shit…

To earn that u need to have a high evaluated team skills that the director had to prove a point with his team… so them aquiring the Copyright on predator makes me believe they are capable of doing it.
