In his defense, I’ve been to France a few times and French people have no sense of humor and walk around all day with sticks up their asses. Pretty cool country tho, I love the architecture.

Yeah but the French drink red wine and walk a lot. They are also generally more relaxed as a culture. Those factors would help offset the harm from smoking.

Offset is a strong word. Alcohol and smoking lead to lots of cancers. Walking and less stress probably helps a bit with heart and vascular disease tho.
