Especially when you down somebody with the axe then net the guy going for the revive and claim in front of him
Fuck the axe.
I was playing around with Pirate earlier and downed a Dutch, spent a good like 14 seconds waiting for his team to take the bait. Recon went to revive him, and I just netted him and Long Claimed the Dutch right in front of him whilst he was trapped to rub it in.
Find it fun to net knife guys too. Typically, always the Dantes that try to run in with the knife. Just net them and ask âWhy arenât you fighting back? Fight back. Come on, fight back.â And just net 'em over & over.
Outstanding
The top 3 things that piss off Fireteams the most:
-
Plasma Spam torture (I love to spam the Dantes to death from time to time when they are downed)
-
Battle Axe (I donât use it unless Iâm doing a Jason Voorhees build, but I mean ask moralez bout the axeđ¤Łđ¤Łđ¤Ł)
-
Net Gun bullying (I love just running trapper and then netting the same Dante over and over again until he just dies from the netđ¤Ł)
Ask me what bro.
How annoying is it to face the Axe haha đ
Hum⌠yeah a little bit if iâm playing solo with random potatoes.
With a team i look at it more of a challenge.
Yeah.
I mean look, tbh, the way I see it, itâs gonna annoy me if a guy recognises me in a public match and then decides to target me with Axe, but if its a premade or even just a Pred who has it, but rarely uses it only when he has to, I donât mind it much.
I donât really blame Predators for using a âOPâ weapon, seeing as FT have way more firepower. I mean I win about 50% of my one on one fights with Axe Predators and Iâm nothing special as FT, and then you look at people like Sam etc who literally run rings around the poor bastard swinging his Axe and then put him out of his misery.đ¤Ł
I mean if the Fireteam players can just aim, then they shouldnât have too much of a problem against the Axe. Otherwise, as a solo guy, its a bit more complicated.
I feel more annoyed by the fact of being bugged because of light damage and broken hitbox, than being OP. Because itâs only OP 1v1.
In fact, i belive people only use it because of it. If it wasnât bugged and had a fixed hitbox, even with extremely good damage, people wouldnât use it that often.
Fair enough.
Tbh I used to use the Axe more when it was the worst weapon in the game haha for a laugh
I only used it after itâs speed was buffed, but right after people said itâs bugged i dropped it.
Bugged shit is a no go fo me on each side, Fanatic, Leader (despite i kever felt a difference), Axe, Spear, etc.
Except for the 3 grenade instant throw glitch when the Pred is dumb enough to stay in the same place meleeing the atmosphere. Lol.
Yeah same pretty much.
I donât care bout the Combistick thing though because it literally never happens for me anyways. Plus itâs the weapon I am best with out of ofc Bow, Pistol and Disc.
Maybe it happens more than you think, because as Pred you canât really tell exactly how much HP the FT had before you hit him.
A thrown Combistick does 97 damage by default. Analytic & Stalker give a 15% damage buff. Meaning itâd do 112 damage. If you have Down Range, thatâs another 10%, so the damage becomes 121, roughly the same as an unbuffed direct hit fully charged plasmacaster bolt.
If the double hit bug is proccing EVERYBODY would notice because itâd one shot every class. Ergo, this bug has to be extremely rare considering the Combi is not reliably one shotting Classes, unlike the Smart Disc or Plasmacaster (Which even they get fucked by 1 Support on the team reducing Predator damage by 20%, meaning an Analytic/Stalker + Downrange build goes from +25% damage to only +5%, hell such builds would be stuck with -3% damage against OWLF Operatives or anybody using OWLF Trained perk & -5% damage against a muddied Dutch 87 on a team with a Support)
Also, FT members become slightly bloody at 100HP and below & very bloody at 50HP & below, so it is pretty easy to tell who is on low health & who isnât. And anybody below 120HP is going to be one shot by a Combi from an Analytic/Stalker + DR build anyhow unless a Support is on the team.
