I was pretty sure that when Crucified actually gets captured in the snare, that Mr Black, Falconer & the hellhounds were there waiting. The stretch of time or distance that Crucified Predator travelled after leaving the water isn’t specified, so it’s possible he continued through the Jungle and fell into a snare that the Super Predators had set up.
I can’t be totally sure though because I haven’t watched the motion comic in a while.
