As per CYSZ Gaming’s YouTube video, if you set your shadow quality to low in graphics setting, you will always see a cloaked Predator when you are playing as Fireteam. If this us true, I want a refund! He makes the statement in the first minute of his video:

Basically we debunked this. If you want to see for yourself or want to test anything feel free to make a request. I am sure any one of us who did the science would be happy to help you out.
We did some tests with all video settings on low (not just shadows) so if you think this makes a difference it could be tested.
I like the game… but these bugs are getting crazy… I would take a refund right now
I run it on DOS and have 256MB of Video memory. Screen is garbled mess. This game needs fix for that.
Did you try editing your autoexec.bat to reconfigure all of your expanded menorry as extended memory?
Would love to see it tested for peace of mind and video posted. I play on PC.

Apparently when you’re on Fireteam, you see the predator as a white ghost instead of cloaked.
I have heard of this one, but had only seen it deomstrated in potato mode, which to get the effect one must also tinker with textures and or shaders so is not possible with in game settings alone.
The tests we did were also fairly close range, as another one if the claims is that it makes Predator visible from far away we will need to be sure to test that as well.
Will you be available to help test? If not I know a couple of people who also like doing this science.

The video seemed to match how some pc players simply see you standing still sometimes and the extreme spotting through trees. So long story short you cant mess the cloak up by turning all the settings on low there are moments where it’s a bit easier to see him but not game breaking. Its good that the average person won’t be able to break the game with the graphic settings alone but the sucky part is if the people in the potato video can break the game it’s still possible that people are doing what they did in the video hope this helps 😁
Additional info pc does have hacks and theres alot of footage on auto aiming shooting through obstacles etc. Ie. Go to 6:00 mark https://youtu.be/poOQilnl6ck .
Theres also macros in the game meaning you can setup buttons to be pressed one time but it’ll translate in the game as being rapidly pressed. So being in a net you can instantly escape with a macros. You can also do it with guns and empty entire clips in a fraction of a second meaning as long as you don’t miss you could put a pred in second wind just by him standing still for a second since you’re putting an entire clip out with a rapid macros here’s a video https://youtu.be/OPUF-XzWsQg
I say all this not to say every pc player is a cheater but to hopefully shed light on it so illfonic and address so of these issues to come to a balance between pc and console. PC already has basic advantages ie. Frame rate higher and using the mouse. Only way to fix the problems is to know there is a problem goodluck hunting don’t be too hard on yourself 😁

@Ranieri21.gr does the evidence presented by @Thescoutpredmain satisfy you? I did do the test this evening, but failed to record it (I toggled on when I thought I had toggled off) so captured everything after the test ><.
If this is not, I can test this another evening. I will say that we tested it with everything on high apart from shadows, and apart from looking like crap, we could not get the Predator to show up when it shouldn’t even at various distances.

long story short the predator noise and cloak suck. You are not stealthy at all… your a t-rex with a cloaking device.
