anyway, having extra frames is always better, as in online games usually the framerate is never steady, so having over 60fps gives you headroom so it never goes below it
Even Nvidia recommends that if you set a frame limit on the GPU settings (not on the game settings), you set it to at least 5 frames above your monitor refresh rate

I was just joking, some games actually run better on older hardware, but most new games triple A titles will bring a 1000 card to it’s knees and will pretty much unplayable on 1440p and higher res.

Have you ever tried playing TABG with more than 5 other players in your vicinity? NOT fun… In fact I believe that there was a youtuber who had an RTX3090 and his pc was at 30 frames from all of the physics chaos going on.
I haven’t played that one, but games like cyberpunk are way too ridiculous you literally need a 3080 or better at 1080p to play maxed out.
On my 3070ti I can barely push 75fps average maxed out on cyberpunk 1080p it’s just sad.

It’s full of far more bugs and hackers than you can dream of. At least they have more content on release than phg ever could muster

Maybe. I personally haven’t ran into anything crazy, but I don’t play with crossplay on.
