It’s hard to pin down what a female Predator body should be because if they share any similarities to humans there is a variety of body types. Imagine an alien race running into humans and the whole crew they met were under 5 ft and skinny then they come to earth and people are over a foot taller and buff. The female Predator build ends up being whatever the writer wants it to be.

That’s pretty much what I think is the case.
Females in expanded lore have been all over the place. From hunters to the rulers, from being massive compared to the males, to a little smaller than what the game shows. It was always simply a matter of what the writer wanted to do. Personally, I prefer how it is here, where there is no difference, and they’re treated no different.
I don’t think the comics are all that bad, really. Some got silly, but the less they went into the predator lore, the better, because everyone has their own ideas and nothing is unified. So when its just a hunt, its fine. Watching the predator kill some nazis, or some battlefield, its great.
Now with what’s going on, I do agree, there needs to be more female classes, but not female only, just like the alpha, samurai, and elder shouldn’t be male only. Yes, the elder is from pred 2, but that was their choice. They could have just made an elder class, and allow us to customize it, but people wanted a pred from each movie, so they gave in. And the alpha and samurai could have also been female. They made these decisions to do only one gender and not the other. Why can’t we get a female preds rebelling against their bug overlords? Why can’t we have a female wearing samurai parts it took as trophies from her prey? Why did they have to restrict it? Now I’ll forgive the elder, because they have to meet the demands of the players, but the other two? Non movie characters they could have easily left as classes with a little more work making a female body as well. @Courier That’s what people want. More customization, more personalization. I have six loadout slots, so I have made a small clan of six predators. I’m not using the jungle hunter or the samurai in public matches, because they aren’t mine. I’m not going to use the elder when I get him, or the alpha if you get around to releasing him for PC. Just like how I’m not using Dutch in public, because he’s not mine.
Also, there were strong females in the pred movies, but the pred movies never really had characters deeper than cardboard.
So the issue goes to there’s no stable lore. Every writer pisses their own version of thing but there are some basics.
The society - Tribal, clans, hunt, safari so much they are almost nomadic
Females are larger often times, stronger, aggressive, the teach the younglings to hunt often and then the young bloods venture ofd on their own hunts.
Its heavily implied they have matriarchal society.
Again, so many writers change their own details we don’t have stable info.

ALL THIS SAID If we get another exclusive Pred Female, it needs to be the one in the wheelchair.

Yeah, the only basics are the society line, the rest are not even close to standard or common. They might be the ones you read or liked, but it varies so wildly that nothing about females can be considered the basics.

Female snakes are bigger than male snakes and all, so this made perfect sense to me. That and they evolved in a society of literal super predators how would they survive without being stronger & more intimidating than the males?
This is why I feel the ingame TITS N BOOBIES stuff doesn’t do them justice. Because of course people can’t tell its female if you dont make it thinner and slap boobs on it yaaawn.
Sexual dimorphism works both ways depending on the species. And with that reasoning, why aren’t the males larger and stronger, to survive as a society of super predators.
And tits were always on them, even before the game. Why? I don’t know, it doesn’t make evolutionary sense, but that’s what all the lore had them, because no one has imagination, or we are really doubling down on hybridization.
Game wise, they made the right choice. Having no differences in the two genders, while still having them so we don’t get the calls of sexism and whatnot. It was done tactfully without the face shoving most media is doing these days. They just are there, no real attention should be paid to the gender. But we want our options.
Because males can die left and right. There’s more of them. They don’t have to protect the young etc etc. If you have a society where the weaker ones are hunted as prey/anything seen as lesser game you get
A. Enslaved females because they are smaller by default
B. Some jurassic park frog genes tier bullshit
Or C. You can make them even and just run with that but thats boring seeing as predators at their core are a parody of “toxic masculinity” or whatever its called these days.
Suppose you could make them the hyper intelligent ones that are making all the technological modifications back home, as such are high value individuals based on that status alone but thats pretty basic.
Making it so preds fly home to impress their super wives and not get flung across the room adds some personality to a “macho” franchise but thats my opinion maybe everyone is just trophy hunters because of kill gene bs. Varies drastically from writer to writer.
But then like the reverse. A. the males would be enslaved because they are smaller. B. actually has been done in some stupid comic. C. They are not a parody of toxic masculinity. Maybe retroactively to fit some narrative, but its not deep, like Alien, and the predator doesn’t symbolize anything other than a horror movie monster in an action movie.
But to each their own. I just see it as a sitcom moment. I prefer the whole honour system determines your skill, not your birth.

They put a ton of emphasis on birth though to breed better hunters, which is why capable males are so important to begin with & they care about trophies at all. Lineage/legacy comes with status and matters also. Again though probably depends on the writer, one day we’ll get consistent lore.
I never got that from reading. You wanted the best hunters to breed so that their genes would get passed on to be the best hunters to breed etc. But you still had to prove yourself as the best hunter.
The only predator I can recall that was suggested to be treated differently because of birth was Prince from the AVP2 game, but even that was never confirmed.
