I stopped playing duelist a while ago and really use it when asked and even then that’s without bane. For the last month or two I’ve pretty much only used scout rushdown with the QR4 and and the Spaz-12 with double time, gearhead, and flesh ripper. I haven’t tried the new scout though so I might try it when I get a chance to play again.

Absolutely adore the Spaz-12, both in this and real life. A beautiful gun. It does some fantastic meaty damage up close. I probably wouldn’t run it on a Scout though. More so a gun for Izzy, Recon, Dante & maybe OWLF I’d say.
One of the last time I played the predator no joke like 4 spawned in the map and I ate one took some more damage from the ft and went back there were 5 more spawned. Killed them all. The firetea. Was really dumb for not following me or ambushing me when eating. But yah felt so bad for the ft after that I kinda just felt I wanted to play ft more to make it fun and challenging…but here is a idea since the predator can destroy the ammo crates. Fireteam should be given the ability to booby trap or destroy the pigs. I think that is fair
I use it predominantly for the ai and if a pred gets too close then for their mask. One pump with flesh ripper on can take out multiple juggernauts and make me faster than a recon amphibious for a few seconds which is just fun.
As I’ve detailed on another thread. On my Izzy build I’m able to get upwards of 800+ damage from just one point blank shot of the SPAS-12 followed by a heavy knife strike with her so it easily became one of my favourite tools.
Somebody did something like that to me once back when HQ dropped. I was using my trapper berserker and this Dutch using reckless if I’m not mistaken with a spaz took out 3/4 of my health bar with 3 shots. I’ve been trying to replicate that damage with it for so long now but not on Dutch (counter intuitive ik but still). Funny enough I gave the guy GGs but he sent me nothing but salt for “disc spamming” after only using it twice.

Seriously disc usage actually requires skill and frankly if he isn’t tracking it’s return path or simply getting out of the way to avoid it that’s his fault. Poor sportsmanship

I actually JUST came out of a game where I downed 2 Dutches back to back in a single throw of my Disc with Cleo, and I had to do under 80+ ping.

Hey, so, I’m in the same boat. Usually I carry my team, with the most damage and finding/attacking the Pred. Even when everyone dies, I still seem to have the highest damage. Know why? I got gud. I’m still something of a potato, but I like to think I’ve evolved more into crispy cut fries. Know how I got to this point? Learning. Watching what players like Sam do. My Pred game stepped way up, and now I’m trying with FT. But honestly, I don’t feel there’s any reason to nerf the Predator. Its already at a huge disadvantage right now, against four decently good humans and ESPECIALLY against the new aimbots. As for the plasma weapons, as others have said, its easy to counter them if you know how. The caster is also the Pred’s signature weapon, so why wouldn’t you use it? The difference is using it in conjunction with other weapons. I plasma spam with my Elder, its fun. But I switch it up all the time.
Also, honor doesn’t exist here. In the lore, you are correct, but this is a video game, so honor is subjective. Sometimes I’ll decloak on the last guy and just wristblade him, but that’s the extent of it for me.

No that is not how fast the current game can take down the predator with any of those. Maybe back when it first came out I can see that. But they buffed the predators and nerfed the fireteam with almost every patch since is release date.
That video is dated August 15th. Soooo…no, they haven’t buffed or nerfed anything.
