This is the unfortunate truth. Game needs a major overhaul.
But even using the tools you mentioned, good coordinated teams will:
- destroy your mask if you’re not using protection perk
- punish you for standing still to charge the plasma caster
- camp pigs when they know you’re low on health
And if all that fails, they’ll finish most missions in 3 minutes, so…
They can’t nerf the caster, energy consumption, or boar spawns, without significantly nerfing fireteam’s ranged damage, fireteams access to resources like Med Kits and Ammo Crates, allow predators to cancel eating the boars, and increasing mission times.
