Gamers are turning into tight fackers

At thebis point, Illfonic should tell what what exactly is in the pipeline with a detailed roadmap of content they are working on, that alone will help the community, but they are being real quiet as of late which is kind if unsettling, I appreciate what they have given us, but some on Illfonic, fucking talk to us, let us know you are working on making the game bigger, give us the damn roadmap of what content you are adding.

Instead of this Whiney post you could just simply say open a storefront for cosmetics. Can be just like DBDs no bullshit just you either have the currency or you can use some money. Can eventually add some dailies and weeklies once the game grows more in content

Bravo to this post. My post was just to stir things up and get people feeling alive haha but you get the point i originally intended to write but boring post don’t always get the right attention and then you added this and everyone should take it in and realise why we sometimes have to pay.

I will always side with Dev when it comes being quieter in forums or stuff like this because I mean look at some of us. If they were actively talk all people would do shit on them.

Like Modern warfare public lobbies (ah my youth)

Anyway, I THINK there was a mention of a road map, not positive. I’m willing to be patient until they solidify planned road map, that takes time if a launch crashed hard like this.

I’ve heard them speak a couple times, I don’t mean coming here or to every post and replying, but a post if their own, a newer one since that patch release. I know players tend to attack devs that dont agree with them. First content drop is gonna be a month in they said, I hope to hell it’s a new nmap or something.

no sir

you fucked up no running away now

terrible excuse but i hope that people opened your squinty eyes a little bit

We all hate micro transactions, especially us who are old enough to “remember when games where some you paid for then owned, not something we hope our meager offering would stave the great coming of the server shut down” - Yahteez

But illfonic and this game are not COD or fortnite and while those two can suck my left nut with microtransactions (EA too, I aint forget about you), this game’s life and continuation will depend on that.

Is that a green light to sell me everything, fuck no. Give me free shit, give us free cool shit and try to also sell me cool shit. I’ll be honest I love Predator and what this game could be that I’ll probably buy, not in loot box form but yall get my point.

There is a middle ground we are willing to broker peace with spending more money knowing it benefits a company/game directly. But if they try to nickel and dime us, I guarantee the money we bought this game for will be wasted in months when no one wants to play it or the servers shut down from absolutely no funding.

this is what a guy got from my post and that is all i needed… one intelligent human being that could take my negative post and get a positive from it and understanding

“Have to pay” nooooo not the point of my post.

We don’t have to pay shit. We paid once, it’s our game now. If we wanted to be extra dicks we could just forever run private games via forums like old school days.

Incentive to pay. Incentive to support the life of the game.

the point of your post i was getting at is supporting the game so its servers don’t close down and we get a long run out of it as regards to paying nobody has to pay shit but i like to see games grow and like to contributor to help them grow. the road map will gives us a good insight to what is happening and if the game will have a long run. i still play friday the 13th and if it wasn’t for that daft lawsuit then more stuff would of come to it and it got a massive graphics update etc people forget they are only a small dev team not a AAA one with a huge budget

Um no. $40 per copy over 3 million copies . They dont need more money… plus another 30 for delux and pre orders

and you really think they get all that money to themselves? their twitter page only as 22k followers, trey are a small dev team with 3 studios not a huge AAA one with a huge budget and don’t you think Sony took its cut of that money and other people involved? isnt good business to carry on working for free and spending your own money all the time, they have to make some back and that’s how games like cod etc introduce skins and packs etc for real money to gain money back lossed and to keep the game and servers up to date and fresh of variety of stuff to keep the players happy

I aware of that.

But the product has an expected level of quality, I said expected, not perfect, expected meaning some glitches and bugs should have been caught and never made it to release.

They are a small team which is why while we should want to support them, they can not or should not just hack out anything and everything and charge or lock it all under loot boxes. The current system is fine. I can buy what I want with in game currency I find and dont have to chance a loot box. Nice.

To ask me to pay money out of my pocket, one the game better be running better, dont spend bug/gltich fix time making cosmetics. Wait till the game is clear and good.

Two - Someone said there’s not 40 bucks of content, this is right in my opinion. Free map or two, or follow Seige’s light and make all maps free so player base doesn’t divide, some cool/good cosmetics that are free or grindable.

Then you can pitch me to buy something else cool you made.

There’s a process/style. I bring up Seige alot because while not perfect at all, they’re doing pretty well with their system.

Incentive, you can’t expect us to pay more. Give us the reason to pay extra. Some will out right refuse and that okay, good on them - never move from your belief, some you can nudge and convince.

so all in all best move for them to take is, make the battle pass cost money that includes special skin and items and people who choose not to buy the battle pass can still get the free stuff available in the pass and make all the maps free so this doesn’t split player base and include currency to purchase premium skins but also include skins that can be unlocked through game play and make sure all guns are available to the players and then everyone is happy ?

All in all its best for them to work on the game’s bugs and stability.

When thats done they can worry about something else.

Till thats done they don’t need to worry about monetization at all.

I agree we should support the devs of a game when they’ve done a good job. And all amount of effort they put into next or extra content should be rewarded some way or another. But not blindly as you suggest. Plus they sold a good amount already of copies, and lets look at the price tag the game has. The higher the price, the better quality you’re expecting to have when playing it, and this games has some issues still, specially on the PS4 when it comes to optimization and other related features. If devs want money, then we want a good quality gameplay, its a balanced give and take. Not only one side reaps the benefits while the others get stuck with a broken mess, like the game industry likes to do nowadays most of the time.

I just want to buy a game, not a money-milking farm where the cow is me. If the game will be good - more ppl will buy it, more money the developers will get. To talk about any microtransactions at THIS stage where the game is now - it’s a bullshit. Look at Witcher 3. It doesn’t have any MTs, it’s a HUGE game (in terms of quality, resources spent and even the map size lol), but it’s still profitable. Add that it’s not so expensive as well. So I don’t get WHY in modern world developers can’t (or better say don’t want) just make the B2P model work.

Give said friend a $45 PSN code, and problem solved. That’s how my cousin bought me the game.

I’d gladly accept a $45 PSN code from you and gift it to a friend to buy the game, cause you know, support the game.

I remember when games were sold for X price and that was it… No micro-transaction shit.

Micro-transaction harm games.

Where once you had bragging rights wearing that epic armor from killing the ultra hard boss, now you have an in game store where you buy it.

I’ve no problem with paying for an expansion DLC.

Those of you that support in game MTX stores with quotes like ‘the developers need to eat’ have probably never done a real days work in your lives. I suggest you shut up and stop harming the industry with your drivel.

well i work everyday and when i get time off and some money laying around to spend then i spend it on games i love. i get your point but times have changed some for the good and some or the bad but that is life and unfortunately we are no longer the kids playing these games and a lot of kids today like paying for fancy looking things in the store and the business etc are aware of this and push it on games like fortnite and cod and it sells and shows. cod making their dlc etc free was a game changer and it brought all the community back together but they are an AAA studio and can afford to do stuff like that and ILLFONIC havent got a battle royal in place or unlimited cash like activision etc.

i was born around the time the predator movie was released and remember renting my games out and buying a game and it was a full game and nothing else happens to it but technology as come a long way and what they can do with games today is amazing and i just go with the times and try and forget the past
