ISn’t SWBF2 just as abandoned and broken as PHG? Last time I played, I got 6/8 matches with hackers who just made literally everyone invincible, and it’s been years since the last update. Doesn’t affect me much since i’m pretty shit at it anyway and quit long ago, but yeah.
From my experience it’s no where near as bad as PHG. BF2 has a lot of people still and that’s just on PS. Can’t say I’ve ever encountered hackers there myself but I have gone against people that have no life’d the shit out of the game.
