just as in battlefield… all you have to do is look in the general direction you hear the clicking bullshit and hit the spot key and bam, he’s revealed to you and is now red outlined for a while even if hes behind a steel wall or a rock… but you say theres nothing wrong with it… So just as you tell the pred mains, get gud… anyone can just spam a hotkey and be shown where the pred is… no skill in that

Yes, there is nothing wrong with spotting mechanic, quz spotting itself is just throwing an eye icon in the direction you want your team to look - its very handy when not all have mics or don’t want to use voip due to pred listening. You need to understand that spotting and marking are two different mechanics, currently connected – if that eye icon is thrown directly on the pred (cloaked or not, does not matter) it will MARK him for all FT members. What me and many others in this community are opting for is to drastically change or remove marking all together – marking, not spotting. Like you said - its unfair, its like a wallhack. If FT will spam spot an area then preds camouflage is useless. That is not only very unfair but drastically stupid in a game about a stealth alien. Anyone that feels this is a game breaking mechanic should post about this on these forums as much as possible, quz right now, it seems, devs are ignoring this problem on purpose. Maybe if we will get more ppl to speak out, they will feel pressured enough to address this.

I can play as both sides to be honest. As Pred I really dont like being told im spotted I should know only if guns are pointing at me or I absorb some hits. Then id for sure know im spotted in a more realistic way.

As FT it would make the spotting a stealthier if I could spot the Pred and while it wouldnt know it’s spotted my FT could strategize around that.

Maybe some tweaks on the glow…the glow would disappear behind a wall but I know there would be some exploiters there … Only any nearby FT could see the spotted predator. Just ideas. I love this game man.
