No, most of us didnt come here to role play the pred, we came to play as the pred.

This whole game is an homage to the first movie. I remember that time Dutch killed the predator and then did a silly dance over its body.
Oh, and that time someone killed a predator and ten predators jumped them and murdered them.
What the game is trying to do is bring back those feelings by putting you in the movie. You feel they failed. That’s fine. That’s on you. But since you’ve given up hope for the game, don’t go around trying to ruin the game for others.
You don’t care about the lore, that’s fine, but the game is lore. This idea is meant to help people get into the lore mindset, and bring that first movie experience to more people. You didn’t like the movie? Or don’t want other people to have that experience, I don’t care. The leaderboards are optional. You can choose to ignore them. You can do them if you want. Nothing is gained or lost by your choice. The only thing that happens by not trying for the leaderboards is your desire to deny the rest of the players the “Predator” experience. And that’s all up to you.
Your best bet is for illfonic to change the game up to more accurately fit the movie.

But, given that we all know what the pred can do, and we know about them, its literally impossible to pull off a feeling close to the first movie.

Which is why I said they should make it so that the pred might not show up in a match.
At first it might sound stupid, but it’s the only way I can think of to try and have the same suspense from the first movie.

I love it when no one reads. It makes this whole thing easier. I’m not topping the leaderboards. These aren’t how I play. Though I do try to give the other side a fun experience anyway.
If the forums are any indication, people aren’t hear to play as the pred, they are here to play as some mystical unkillable juggernaut and then complain that they die when shot. The leaderboards are here to encourage lore immersivity, fun for all players in a round, and tactical improvement.
DhRauta is complaining that it’ll make the game competitive as he defends others who make the game competitive. Its flat hypocrisy, or more accurately, he’s just trying to start something to create drama. Had you actually read, I pointed these out.
And YUPPERS has not even mentioned the leaderboards, he just came on here to say ‘git gud’ which you can plainly see by reading.
So, it comes down to why. Why don’t you like the idea? The point is what I have said over and over again. You can disagree with them, but there is a point.
Attacking a downed FT is bad. the FT cannot fight back or defend himself. This is against the whole honour system the predators have. From the movies the game is based on. And guess what? You can still do that even if the leaderboards are put in the game. You can still play however you want.
That’s… the movies… Did you not see the… Are you new to the franchise? I’m sure you can pirate the movies and get caught up.
