I’m gonna addon to that saying
it does not say really how long the missions are but it did mention “mission-s” as in multiple ones and not the one… it says more… which means technically they won’t do harm to their title by making the matches be like 30min or more… hell “league of legends” can take upto 2 hours or more lol… and people enjoy it cause its a grind lol… its clash of tactics… but yeah 30min is what would save the game just by it self… and optional would be for them to add RNG SYSTEM to the missions and objectives…
If this thing would last for 30 minutes the game would need to be reworked from top to bottom.

Because the game is balanced for 10 minutes matches (or around that). In 30 mins the FT is not going to have enough resources, so you need to buff them there.
In 30 minutes the predators has FAR more occasions to win. So you need to nerf him somehow.

You are 100% correct here. In fact that realization is why I created my rework post so long ago. Longer matches wont work alone, nor will bigger maps. The core game needs to change to account for that.
IT would only work imo if the game was focused around FT buying time by second winding pred, and forcing him to retreat.
Balancing around killing him would make the game far too fast.
But then I thought, okay so if we are gonna do that, then we need to balance it the other way so pred doesnt just wipe FT, and hence the idea to make preds stealth and shit better, and make his health weaker. Increasing damage on both sides. That will force pred to play smarter instead of just rushing in, which in turn should prevent the opposite way of the match ending too early.

Now as for the game itself, if pred had a better melee system and movement system, I feel that would make things a lot funner and better.
Problem is, illfonic went with the most boring generic way to fight, on the fire team side.
Shooters, mainly fps games, are extremely limiting games.
I’m starting to see that they actually do need to increase the power level of this game, so it can be fun on both sides.
So ft can get a bunch of gear. And pred doesn’t feel so weak.
As for me, I’ve started playing this game less, cause the game keeps not registering half of my inputs.
Its extremely annoying, see unlike you, I don’t mind ppl coming at me trying to kill me.
Like get fucked. You fkn come at me all aggressive in game I’m putting your ass down.
But I cant really do that successfully, when I’m fighting the fucking game itself.
Auto claims, melee hits not registering even tho I’m right on top of the ft, stamina being drained way too much by any and all actions, blowing myself up with s plasma shot, cause the games aiming for reticule makes it seem like I have a clear shot when I dont,
Switching weapons taking way too long, compared to ft who can switch to everything faster,
And I’m sure theres a few more things, but the point is, theres a lot of shit illfonic needs to fix and improve, so
The game feels better when playing on pred.
So why you’re getting annoyed by other players, I’m here pissed off cause I’m fighting the games technical issues, while trying to pvp.

@Fire i want to try and i try but not to that extent where i feel like im playing eSports professional ranked tournament match XD… cause thats the vibes im getting from recent fireteams… usually most of them are on PC…
I will give you an example of Evolve game… i nerded the shit out of that game and had 4k hours in total or like 3.8k
Whenever i played monster i felt so happy and overpowered to the point where i was trying to win and not feel anxious if they domed me or like surrounded me… this is important factor in this message alright… ur listening okay… focus on this whole sentence above… The fact why i put so many hours in evolve is not cause monster was OP… its cause that game was the best asymmetrical game to ever exist… and the devs were just phenomenal and their Evolve journal dev updates aree amazing and how they plan it all is amazing… and that was back in 2014-2015,… the tech back than was limited than it is now… but they juiced it out to the max…
While illfonic is ignorant, does not listen… im not talking about community managers or mods… im talking about actual Devs… Devs are the most ignorant people i ever seen right now… and i will never ever buy a game from then again and thats my final call…

I get the flashbacks of how people did that to me back like 50 matches ago… and then they shit talked me like bunch of fucks who thought i was running away from them as predator cause i suck… no its cause first of all knifing is broken… second of all stamina is still broken… third of all sniper is way too broken more than the knife… fourth… they on purposly made the pigs not spawn… fitfh of all… i dont find plasma spamming worth it … neither the current melee mechanics lmfao…
And most of all i am fucking sick of people not realising that they are fucking puppet masters in the matches and they actually FLEX by winning? by abusing the whole game mechanics core???

I don’t want a easier match, neither a hard match… I want a interesting match with possibilities and endless fun paths… which this game does not offer lol…
Learn to have fun by torturing the newer players and lower end players.
Shoot at them to scare them, but dont actually hit them.
Follow them around, letting them know you’re near by, because those types of players will be anxious as hell and scared as fuck knowing your near by.
Take advantage of the fact that people have trouble keeping a calm mind during gaming and fuck with them.
I love when theres one guy left, and I’m just stalking them, watching their reactions to the situation I put them in. Lol.
As for the other part, vs a good ft, I love constantly moving around and being mobile in order to fight the ft.
It’s annoying sometimes, but as I told coffee, my main problem with annoyance and frustration doesnt come too much from the players I’m fighting, but from the stupid technical issues.
Not gonna lie, I get annoyed hearing people complain about preds who like to stay mobile and jump around.
Like how lazy are you that you don’t want to have fight a mobile enemy, or how lazy are you that you dont want to have to play like that?
To this day, this is one of my favorite matches.
I play sloppy as shit, but once I get my act together, holy shit was it fun. At this point I hadn’t really reach the level I am now, this like a month ago?
Anyway, the ft and me were on pretty even terms.
There was a sniper, who forced me to hip hop my ass around. I literally could NOT stand still.
It was fkn great. So I hate ppl who dont like this play style. It’s fun as shit, and you’re actually fighting the ft.
You say we shouldnt have to extend the matches, but in a lot of different games, I have to, cause if I dont hold back, most ppl just get annihilated by me xD.
But you have to enjoy watching and fucking with people lol.
I’m honestly starting to seriously lean towards making this game a higher powered level game.
It would allow for way more fun gear, abilities, ect.

I mean you can tell me that’s not true, but I believe it is. Cause theres plenty of games where I’ve said, basically like you did, where I don’t want to try and push myself that hard.
Theres a few games where the way the devs made the game, it’s just too much bull shit to deal with. Sure I can win, but I’m not going to push myself in a game I’m not having fun in.
Meaning because I wont have fun, I dont want to try, cause there’s no point.
I dont feel like this game is one of those, because when I say that about games, its usually games where people play like extreme bitches, and the devs cater to them.
In this game, I dont feel the devs cater to those players I fucking hate.
Like I said, my main problem is the fkn bugs and technical problems.
Remove those, and il be just fine.
Unlike you, I dont mind pushing myself to higher and new limits in games. But I cant have fun or enjoy doing that if the game is fucking me.
