Now aside from city hunter, I would argue that most of the dlc have been pretty tame, because for every area they are strong, there is somewhere they are weak.
But city hunter broke that spree. Where each pred had a downside, city hunter arguably does not.
He is better than the standard hunter in every way, and unlike his weapons, he will not be free. This means that you are paying for an inherently better class, with no downsides. Something you cannot get in game.
Regardless of how strong they actually are, they are microtransactions that change the gameplay in a significant way.

Alpha was never said to be free, nor was ever said to be paid for on global release. Illfonic said “available”. Alpha is paid content = rage. Alpha is free content = rage. Pick your poison.

I will admit, the stats on City Hunter are certainly a boost from say Hunter or Elder right? While I can make an arguement that City Hunter’s downside lies to his limited Gear Selection, but you can still run essentials like Medi-Comp and stuff like that, it’s still somewhat of a moot point if you simply don’t use Gear like that. I’m hopeful that they will change City Hunter by August’s free update.

I totaly agree with you Lazy, Coffee and Fire… If they free pred from bugs and create better and swift movement without rock that can stop your movement its gonna be more enjoyable… Its not easy to be good as a pred in this game… FT have no bugs in their gameplay i think but Pred have tons of bugs u fight againts every match…

I have a feeling that the wrist launcher will be unlocked from him in the future. I dont imagine them keeping it locked.
That being said that things pretty strong regardless of whether or not hes stuck with it.

Which the devs probably wont do at all… your best bet is the director doing a podcast but thats max… u see oldkinghamlet apologising for the devs mistakes… when he isnt even a dev or works on the game lmao…
