Im pretty sure the predator hotkeys will come with a patch. Exploits and hacks and cheats and macros im against. but the ability to bind my keys cmon. Plus the weapon switch speed is the same. Its literally the ability to use my keyboard as a pc user instead of a poorly implemented weapon wheel designed for a controller. I just want optimal use out of the input system i already have. Im not talking about a macro to get out of a net.

never said i had a problem with that i said i had a problem with ps4 needing a weapon wheel and pc doesnt ( if its really a thing. still waiting on whats his face to say if it is and where to go to test this but thats besides the point)

Yes but i dont think expecting pc users to have a poor experience optimized for ps4 and not pc is reasonable or good game design. The crossplay button is there for that issue. You dont take issue with the use of a mouse in a game where you need to use a controller?

nope, according to Epic I apparently didn’t buy the Pre-Order Deluxe edition… even though I literally bought the Pre- Order Deluxe edition the night before the game came out…

how is that the same thing? gta 5 does this watch dogs does this Splinter cell black list does this. theres a weapon wheel so that no matter what system you play you have to take the same amout of time to grab/use your gear/weapons how can you say that its fair for pc to not have that need but ps4 does? that makes so sense and i agree its bad game design switching should be only for the weapon wheel it just makes sense

heres two points why i would say it makes sense

  • first off because it has all your items bond to one button leaving your attack and movement options more opened to you

  • and lasting because everyone would have to same limits.

sometimes limiting what you can or cant do is the way to blance things and when were talking cross play. its more importent then yes the button is there but hey man turning off cross play takes match making form 10 mins as a predator to like 30 its just not a good option to say that and for the fire team it goes form 5-30 seconds to like 5-6 mins i shouldnt have to wait that much longer because i wanna play with pc players.

What about frame rates, mouse, aliasing etc etc. The issue is crossplay. To handicap one system due to the limitations of another results in mediocre experience by no fault of said system user.

frame rate i can sorta understand that kinda? as i cant really see how going form 60 fps to 120fps would really help you all that much. if this was a racing game where you only get to see the other guy for a split of a second then i could see that but as is? 60fps for how fast everyone can move thats about as good as your ever going to need. mouse? dude i shit you not back in the day Black ops one i used to be better at my aim on that game on PS3 then i ever was on pc. so im telling you man the controller is hard to learn for sure but doesnt mean you cant. and im not fully sure on this but isnt their aim assist for PS4 players?

The weapon wheel is a vestige of the console port. The time the predator takes to switch weapons is the same once the input is received across systems. The weapon wheel as such is hardly a game balance mechanic simply a nuisance when you have a keyboard.

I don’t know how ps4 players feel about weapon wheels. I guess you put up with it because it makes the most sense given your input device whereas it does not as a keyboard user. I don’t think it is an intentional balance mechanic depriving one set of users their usual comfort level with regards to their input device.

It is because it is a console port. Again fireteam have hotkeys for weapons and gear. Its just a weird half baked control scheme.

You can’t even rebind wasd on keyboards. Is that a balance issue? No just a half assed keybinding scheme just like the weapon wheel.
