Despite my better judgment since the cloak changes my crossplay has stayed on. I encounter PC players all the time. Just never anyone on here.
Hardcore mode should be standard.
but I don’t think that has to do with balance. Right now most matches feel good and challenging if the player knows what is doing… problem is… we still get a lot of those matches where the pred is literally slow walking towards us thinking we can’t see it

I know what you’re talking about,
But even as ft, even against a good pred,
Ft just feels too powerful.
Except for me, but no matter what the fk I do, I can even copy ppls builds, I always seem to do less.
For me, my main issue is that when I’m playing pred, ft never feels like they’re doing anything off skill.
Its just bullshit gimmicks.
I just miss before 2.0. Where even tho balance was still in favor of ft, at least back then if a ft made it to the chopper it was off skill.
Not too many teams make it to the chopper on me,
But those that do its straight up just off gimmicks.
If this was the case before 2.0. Then I would know it was just me.
But that wasnt the case.
Most ppl hate how I speak about my past on this game, but back then there was barely any team that could make it out.
Then all of a sudden, come 2.0,
With ft getting beyond broken damage, and other bullshit, and my build getting ruined by ilfonic,
It’s become unreasonable.
I just want this shit to be even.
I dont care if I don’t win all the time, but I’m tired if losing to gimmicks.
You do less because you play passive as hell and never takes risks, unsure what gimmicks you are referencing tho, and i doubt you lost to a “gimmick” when you faced CCD, you just lost because you never engaged much or took risks.

Hardcore should be a que option for Quickplay, 100% with you there… but it should not replace quickplay hunt.
It should be the mode good players gravitate towards, hell make it the ranked mode even. I know I’d play TF out of it.

You mean the match where he was lagging a lot? Couldn’t fathom why anyone would avoid taking risks when everything is choppy as hell.

That isnt how I normally play, or want to play.
And, with how none of the pred classes are able to run the build I like,
I couldn’t play how I want to no matter what.
You guys are really obsessed with that match, yet I didnt see you’re little group do too much either.
There was NO interest in trying to actually fight or kill me, only doing the mission.

I played vs a team, where I was forced to play full range.
They actually fought me, and put pressure on me the entire match.
I only downed one,
Wasnt able to kill him because I had to move cause they had 2 really good snipers.
Though I didnt die. That was a pretty big loss for me.

I saw the match from both sides.
And nobody was really interested in playing Recklessly.
So what happened?
We got a boring match.
But I’m not mad, or even dweling on that match.
That’s why I dont really talk about it unless its mentioned.
But both sides were playing it safe.
I’m sorry, but I’ve played against and with way more aggressive fts, that actually fought the pred.

To this day this is my favorite match In terms of me having to actually fight and not hold back.
This guy was one of the most beautiful snipers I have ever gone up against.
This was how I used to play.
Granted i still hadn’t fully mastered pred.
But this match was beyond fun.
Please stop thinking in obsessed with my match with ccd and your group.

And btw, I made this post cause I had fun playing hardcore like I said, not because of that match.
And if anyone cares why I played how I did, I can give you my full thoughts on the fight.
You might not agree, but itl give insight on why I played it so defensively.

Hardcore SHOULD be in the Quick Play rotation and the fact it’s not, and we get Clash instead, is utterly baffling. A few things could probably be done with modifying to make Hardcore more viable for Quick Play, but overall it’d be a good way to seperate the game into two catagories of Casual & Ranked without having to fiddle about with an entirely new queue system. Course that’s still ultimately up to the Playerbase, but I feel like after a week or so most people would get the gist of “Hey Hardcore is for actually co-ordinated teams, maybe I shouldn’t solo queue in to it.”
Also staying at Range and just taking potshots with the Caster is why Scout gets a bad rep and people think it’s bad. A Scout SHOULD be constantly jumping in & out and playing super aggressively due to having the best speed & stamina in the game. In, attack, out, in attack again, rinse & repeat. Coming in to the fight from every angle and constantly applying pressure. Not sat 50 yards away in a tree where all of Scout’s biggest strengths, their movement options & stamina, fall apart. It makes more sense to do that with a Berserker who is a slow fucker that has no Stamina then the fastest, best hit & run class in the game.

He didn’t lag much, ive seen laggier preds do way better and playing melee Samurai and manage to kill at least 2 FT before the buff.

No but for real you’re not wrong. Plus as pred you’re usually fighting the broken jankiness of the game more than the FT.

Leap and hit your head on a branch. Fall to the ground. Leap again and clip your foot on a twig so you just fly straight up before falling back down.
Yeeep. Thats why Predkour needs a revamp to function like Ninja-Run in Metal Gear Rising and auto-vault you over stuff/swing onto branches like a monkey when you clip them with your head mid-jump.
