Not only does hardcore take away information but it also adds FF which would increase toxicity.
Not to say FT shouldn’t be nerfed.
It really isnt that bad though.
All it does is add challenge to the ft.
Literally the only thing I’m asking for is realistic mags, and friendly fire.
That’s it.
I played it. It was actually fun.
I definitely don’t want friendly fire. I’d end up doing the Predator’s job for him a fourth of the time. And also, I’m playing with a busted analog on my controller, because apparently you can’t fucking buy DualShock 4 controllers right now. So, I’d end up shooting teammates in the back by mistake anyway. 😂

For those that have played since launch it was really enjoyable.
Trust me I got hit with a few nades so I understand the concern.
But what I liked about it Is that it finally made ft feel like it required a bit of skill.
If pred has to require skill. I want ft to require skill too.
Yeah well, it won’t matter. Getting four people to work together on this game is like a mother trying to get her kids to stop running around the kitchen while she’s cooking.

Fire is a friend of James Cameron. We played a lot together from pretty much launch day right up until the game got boring because we, along with other friends virtually never lost a match as FT. As FT players I’d say we were about the same level. Different styles but similar level.
He played way more pred so was way better at it. One of the best? Nope, but very good. He never claimed to be one of the best but was well aware that he was damn good. He’s played with some of the best players I’ve known in this game and knows a lot about the hunt.
Although he can come across as pushy or aggressive in a discussion believe me it’s just him having a passionate debate. I’ve had a few with him, sometimes he’ll sway me, sometimes I’ll sway him, sometimes we agree to disagree.
TLDR: anyone playing Fire now will not see him at his best. I know players better than either of us, but he’s good. He’s a pretty knowledgeable guy regarding this game and despite the way frames his arguments at times he will admit when he’s wrong and will give proper thought to your argument.
@Fire James Cameron thinks you need to just not let certain people get to you.

I thought it was really cool until I got stuck in a bear trap and took 90 years to get out. Tweak that and I think it would actually be really cool for a game mode
I stand by my statement that preds who want hardcore hunt are the ones who need FT to be severely handicapped to be able to kill any of them.
Reduced health, no map, no spotting, no ammo count, friendly fire, no health read out, more dangerous AI, can’t see teammate markers past like 20m, massively increased interaction time on everything vs No iso scan and worse second wind.

But I did mention that those things were all I wanted.
Honest opion since you’re ft main, do you honestly believe that’s too much of a restriction on ft?

It was fun.
I do, it nullifies 2 specializations (spotter and sniper), gets rid of most of your incoming info. I guarantee if you made the current hardcore hunt mode the standard you would have like hour long queue times as pred because 90%+ of the FT players would straight up stop playing.

Alright but…what about the friendly fire or realistic mags portion like he said? Like I see how the other things hamper the fireteam to the point of “unfair” (although pred also loses a lot of “tricks” like thermal tagging and target iso).
Those two things are pretty basic though and would be interesting for teams to work with?

Aside from those 2 things tho, I think its time they make guns be projectile and not hitscan.
Hardcore mode has a lot of modifiers for both sides. We get some time this week we’ll go a few rounds
