Have Illfonic killed the PS4 edition servers to force everyone to buy the PS5 edition?

I’m seeing loads of other people accessing the new update & Feral Predator via buying the PS5 upgrade edition of the game but every time I select check for update on the PS4 version of the game it says the latest version is installed, and I can’t log in to the game because the PS4 version servers are still down from when Illfonic were doing “Server Maintenance” earlier.

People are playing it perfectly fine on the PS5 version of the game so why the fuck are they forcing us to pay £15 for the Upgrade to a game we already bought, stripping people back down to level 1, and removing their other Paid DLCs AND the Pre-Order Exclusive Jungle Hunter '87?

This is total bullshit. @IllFonic if you’re going to completely shut down the PS4 version’s servers at least make the PS5 upgrade free for people who already bought the PS4 version of the game. Why the hell should we pay just to literally be able to play the update?

Last night i was playing around 6-7pm central and when i got back on around 9 or so it kept saying “authenticating” and wasnt able to play at all. After a bit i was able to get to the menu screen but nothing would show like online players or anythin like that so maybe?

Bro… I know!! I can’t get into the game, not even on my PS4 (I tried both 4 and 5). Does that mean that I no longer will get to play with my PS4 friends?
What version would I need to get IN CASE I WAS INTERESTED, to get all the purchases I made already back?
What the fuck is going on @IllFonic???

I played a couple matches on xbox and the dreadlocks animation is scuffed, wasnt able to complete any matches the game crashed everytime. I did keep xp and chalenge progress but the game crash every match :( also no ft dlc on xbox.

I can’t play “Multiplayer” on PS4!
And no updates appear on PS4!

Bro… Knowing Illfonic, I wasn’t even thinking about getting it at all! 😁😁 I really would need to see what the community says about the update, and I mean this community, not FB or Twitter or whatever.
