@VENN7eance I’ve ran into this again last night. It’s like a one way shield. The branches won’t break after 2 or 3 mags, definitely indestructible, and the predator can rain plasma on your head through them. It’s a little broken.

It’s not just the new map. This was overgrowth.

But I’m still taking damage when in the trees, from AI and those bastard sniper Recons. I’m just making sure people aren’t mistaking the branches acting as some kind of shield when they’re not. I’ve had no trouble shooting Predators in the trees either as FT…

If the branches have suddenly become indestructible, then sure get it fixed.

I think the indestructable branches are a bug that appeared on the release of 2.05, i don’t think they are suppose to be indestructable together with the ground plants.

It sure is a game breaker, i’ve been testing this out for several days now and you can just climb up a tree near a camp where the Fireteam are doing objectives and wipe them all out with the plasma caster. Turn off the cloak and stand behind a smaller branch and shoot charged plasma bolts, they can’t do anything but throw frag grenades, use the hammerhead grenade launcher or the special grenade launcher one, the round is over within 30 seconds.
Sorry to the Fireteam players who encountered me when testing this. :p

This could possible have only been ment for the Clash mode, but accidently reached Hunt mode too.

That’s because AI can shoot through walls, and those Snipers are most likely elevated to(or above) the Predator’s branch level. If FT has a clear shot at you, in a tree, at ground level they can’t deal damage

It’s not because of Clash it’s actually do to the Predkour being adjusted

Just tested branches and bushes on Overgrowth (PS4). I can cut bushes down, shoot bushes away and destroy branches…

I noticed i didn’t mention that in this thread, i have another thread that is like a week old where i describe this issue. And yes, you can destroy them in private matches, but not in “Quick” ones.

Yeah…they’re fucked. Totally indestructible. For fuck sake… Even the weed plants can’t be cut or shot out.

Can confirm @Courier @OldKingHamlet that in Public Quick Play on Backwater map bushes and trees cannot be destroyed by Fireteam. I’m able to shoot AI through the bushes still, but this is going to be an issue for sure.

Majorly. It’s game breaking if you ask me, and needs fixing immediately when possible. It pisses me off especially because it cheapens my victories as Predator now.

Yea… got to wait for that next dlc to come out to even get a fix… or you know what maybe 2 months…sorry just don’t believe in them trying to fix it most companies would have had a hot patch or something…tops a week but nahh we deal with bugs on a daily and are except to just sit on our ass and just wait…I’m fine with waiting but it’s going to kill the community more so then what’s already been happening

I imagine they’ll fix this within a week, they were pretty quick to attempt to fix the bluescreens from 2.02…
