Iām not sure how anyone can enjoy that movie fan or not. The plot and writing are abysmal.
They also like the SW sequals. People will like anything.
evey movie in this time line have some type of crisisā¦ predator a drug trafficking and human traffic ring, predator 2 racism, predator reboot in antarctic women are strong, predator requiem school bullies and sexaulism, predators a mix cluster fuck of all crisis rapped into one, the latest predator is about bio tec and the future of mankind with handed down knowledge from a extraterrestrial source . This latest predator in development is hard to pin but sounds like another racism crisis.

This is honestly why I say that Gatekeeping isnāt necessarily a 100% terrible idea for Fandoms in practice. It keeps people with bad opinions like that away from basically trashing up any discussion. Like would you want a person who unironcally likes The Predator telling you that youāre wrong?
I deal with brainless speedwatchers who try to tell me that Godzilla vs Kong is a good movie, when if you try to view it within the greater context of the Monsterverse, itās literally trash on par with AvPR.
Itās easy. The author didnāt actually watch ANY of them. Couldnāt have. Itās humanly impossible to find The Predator to be ANYTHING but a massive dumpster of flaming elephant poop. In all seriousness the issue here is that they ARENāT fans. If a genuine fan likes the bad parts as well then thatās fine.
The people who are against gatekeeping are the reason gatekeeping is required.
I have no problem with new people coming into my hobbies and interests, but I do have a problem with people who want to warp it and change it to fit THEM. Those people are why gatekeeping is necessary.
