Personally @JudgementalOstrich?? I see myself playing this for the long haul. When the honeymoon phase is over, E.G. grinding like a madman and unlocking everything since Veritanium got a nice buff, I’ll be dipping in frequently as my favorite Predators I created that harken to Action Figures and Comic Characters.
No matter how good something is, we’re eventually are going to seek out something newer to play. Hunting Grounds is never leaving my PS4 Pro’s SSD. It’s too much fun.
I did already quit like 2 weeks ago , reading forums now and then, those patch notes and forum feedback did not bring me back for the reasons I’ve already listed in one of the threads I’ve created before leaving.
So, I guess that’s how it is going to be for me personally , just checking if a developer actually putting the “game” up to a “game” standard , exciting lol :D
I hope Illfonic will add the ability to change how the Predator’s armor looks…not just it’s colors. I don’t want some Destiny 2 crap. But something to make the Preds look more like stalkers and all that, you know?
With the way things are going? Not much longer.
I am already tired of the one patch per month bullshit despite the fact the game’s riddled with issues. Ranging from balancing to lack of optimization to downright game breaking bugs. Don’t even get me started on the lack of content. 3 maps that may as well be one map. They shouldn’t be charging $20 for this let alone $40-60.

Agreed @Redycx. Yes, our Options are pretty cool if not somewhat limited.
Having Armor that replicates the City Hunter from Predator 2 or even Wolf from AvP Requiem would be amazing.
I’m also hoping that the upcoming Apex Predator has some Coloring and alternate Mask Options. The Apex Design is growing on me (the Tribal Body Armor looks pretty badass!!) but that Mask… it’s cool but also too large and cumbersome. Going completely against what a Predator’s Design stands for.
Agreed. Although the Alpha’s mask really makes the Predator look lime giant bug tbh…
Planning to stick around as long as Illfonic supports the game. A Patch a month is actually quite generous if you think about it. I hate to keep mentioning it, but we got what we paid for. A 40$ Base Price Asymmetrical Game based around the 4v1 Gametype, in the middle of a pandemic, and the pressure of a “doomed to fail” IP. You probably should have known what you were coming into with a open mind at the least. A lot Progress has been made in the first month since release, and that’s amazing.
Plus it was backed by Sony if Street Fighter 5 is any indication in what kind of quality have you get on release of a game it’s a dead giveaway what you’re going to get. I still love playing the game and will continue to play it. I love predator and it feeds that evolve itch.

Sony should stick more money into Illfonic (and Friday the 13th is really fun to play even today) because P:HG shows great promise and I really want lots of patches soon to fix all the
Matchmaking bugs. (Most important, because Predator waits for too long and no preference is literally Fireteam but with a different name)
Mechanic’s bugs.
Gameplay/Graphic bugs.
Others (Main Menu bugs etc)
And maybe we get some content faster too.
I mean, it’s fairly obvious. Don’t get me wrong, I love Predator and Alien, but most of the stuff to come out for them has just either been decent or utter trash. For Predator? The Predator was pretty bad. I don’t think that VR Game was too hot either. Stalking Shadows Novel as well. For Aliens, there has been a series of failures. Colonial Marines, Covenant, and the Comics “Defiance to Rescue” because of the Brian Wood situation, which in turn has canceled the “Colonial Marines: Rising Threat” Comic, which was going to be the backstory behind the new Alien Game which also crosses over with the Alien: Echo Novel, which was actually pretty good.
The last time Predator had an actually decent game that wasn’t a Mobile Tie in or Guest Appearance was AVP 2010, 10 years ago, and even then Predator was the target for calls of OP’ness and just general brokenness in the game’s state. I’m not saying Hunting Grounds is bad, in fact, it’s a step in the right direction.

Only a few of them, but I’d like to customize the armor, not just to make it a premade set.

Change leg, arm and chest armor pieces. And like selecting a piece for each arm or leg.

@Renegade I played Anthem at launch and for nearly a year after. It had one of the worst releases and state of balance. Give PHG time.
