I want to keep threads open, especially where people discuss merits of what they want to see from us (cause that will help us make a better game). On the other hand, personal attacks are contrary to this, annoying for everyone to read, and make an otherwise helpful thread not helpful. So, more discussion and less insults, and I will keep this thread open.

F13 had a huge playerbase dropoff once people realized they had to play a bunch of matches to get jason. The forced no preference thing doesnât work and itâs exactly why they tried something new this time around, as much as people donât like sitting in a virtual line.
Would you rather have been in a 5 minute queue to play jason or have to sit through like eight fucking rounds as counselor? You basically have to grind out matches for an hour minimum to get the killer role if your luck is shit, just makes everything a chore why even play?
I think more âheroâ characters, like Dutch, could generate more interest in FT, drawing more to FT and reducing Pred queue times. We need Jesse Ventura, Danny Glover, etc⌠Hell, even a crazy Gary Busey character would be fun.
Yeah but the problem with that was u were being put in a lobby with 8 other people. This game is 5 people a lobby so it wouldnât take all that grinding to be pred
Ok post a poll and let people vote whether or not theyâd prefer to play four FT matches for 1 pred match or just wait 5 mins whenever because I guarantee the answer is the later.
By the time you run through four fireteam matches you donât even want to play anymore, this is what murdered F13âs playerbase. They paid to play counselor and an occasional jason lottery ticket
What we need is a new game mode that gives players a reason to want to play as fire team, such as a 4v4+1 experience, fire team vs drug cartel
The VALUED time of being the Predator is important to loggin time in match. Regardless of actually killing a FT member is irrelavent IMHO. So long as you go in and ACTUALLY learn something everytime. THAT is the most important thing!! Thats why, Myself and iâm sure alot of ppl like me, arent going in as Predator. Because right now, IT IS SLOW. There is little to no learning curve, and until we get some strategy guide or UI challenge directive, there is really very little point to playing as Predator.
It is NOT, and I REPEAT NOT like Friday the 13th. Iâm certain that the LITTLE we get with Predatorâs experience, will actually make it worth while to wait. But right now, I think its in their benenit to have few ppl like playing as Predators. Because ONCE PPL perfect the experienceâŚITs GOING TO BE ALL OUT WAR!

Can we please stop suggesting that the horrible matchmaking from that horrible F13 game be implemented to this game. Itâs a terrible idea.
It wouldnât work like that. So hereâs the deal, letâs say ur put in a lobby and u all have âno preferenceâ set. U would all have a 20% chance of being predator (it would also be this way if u all had predator set or ft set). Now letâs say 1 guy has âprefer predâ and the other 4 have âprefer ftâ. Now they all give that guy their 20% chance of being predator and he now has a 100% chance of being predator. Itâs not a âplay so many ft matches to be predatorâ type of deal, itâs purely based on percentage and chance
To me it seems that would literally change nothing. The same amount of people will choose to be pred, the same will choose FT. Whatâs the difference?
Everyone has it set to prefer pred because pred is rare to begin with at that point and most of this gameâs population is playing pred, the same way everyone had their preference set to jason and never got rounds with him before they all quit. lol why would you opt to gimp your chances at getting a rare roll? Youâve boiled down player choice into a diceroll shitfest and people would just dodge until they get pred because god forbid their luck is ass that day and you make them play 6 ft matches when they just wanted to hop on for an hour and play two pred matches then play something else.
Again, just as in f13 by the time you get to actually play what you want when you want you donât even feel like playing anymore.
I donât get it, are we trying to get Preds to get gud, or are we trying to reduce wait times?

It doesnât matter if a pred player is good in this situation cuz u can kill him in <2 minutes and then boom ur on to the next match

None of the matches in this game ever last as long as f13. Very rarely am I ever able to stretch matches out to last almost the whole time cuz majority it ends in about 5. But when the match is a good one to last almost the whole time, everyone has fun and enjoys it so it would be hard to salt over. But even if u did get put as ft when u wanted to be pred all u would have to do is complete all the objectives and then retry after the 4 minute match u just played
To me it sounds like youâre a casual Pred who had played 2 matches in the past month. It doesnt sound like you gave much thought to the process of playing pred. Because if you SPAM, you die! GET IT!

Even a moron knows melee spamming is the worst thing to do of course I donât do that. And I am a somewhat casual player cuz I donât play games to show off my skill I play for fun
