1.08 did not surprised me with the fact that Illfonic has AGAIN ignored community requests to remove unfair exploit of marking cloaked predators from this game. Screw you Illfonic! I hate you!
Positive surprise is that the Jungle Hunter exclusive class got some love. I thought, because not all have it, nothing will be ever done to improve it, quz “why the fuck should we?”… And here we are with movie accurate backpack, cannon and wrist blades. Thanks Illfonic! I love you!
Yes the added stuff on the 87 class was a nice surprise. Id love to see all that in the patch notes. They fucked up the plasma caster animations and sound sync while they were at it though.

I don’t think they’re going to remove spotting. Pretty sure the FT users would erupt if they did.
I agree with the slight cosmetic changes to the Jungle Hunter. I thought I was just imagining things. So cool tweak by the devs.
Nobody wants spotting removed from this game. Spotting, as throwing an eye icon in the direction you want your team to look is ok, no problem with that. Problems starts when thaht icon sticks to the predator, highlights him for everyone and braeks the stealth gameplay. That is what they need to remove.
Toned down, yes. Removed, no. Unless you also want to remove the standing still invisibility so the FT can always see you, there needs to be some way to show the team where you are. Each spot should have a 2 second cool down, so if you miss, you have to wait. You can’t just spam the area hoping for a hit.
But a lot of it comes down to the predator isn’t being as stealthy as he thinks he is, thus spotting is the problem, not my own gameplay.
I have to agree that using the current spotting system to highlight the Predator can be paralleled with the age old favorite party game.

No its not that they added a more.movie accurate plasma caster/ gauntlet. They were already in the game. The problem is that on all pred classes the plasma caster kept switching back to the default gray. Seems they fixed that bug
im afraid this is incorrect it is a new model. they used the default predator backback and plasma caster on the 87 skin. before now it is a new model.

edit: unless you mean default grey as in default model and default colour then yes you are right.
facepalm yes… That’s what I just said. A bug in the game was causing the default model to be used on all predator skins and classes. Like I said. They fixed that
i get it now i hadnt taken notice of the difference between the customization and in game models. i thought it was always the default model prior to patch. sorry for the confusion.
Oh, you meant the model, quz it looke liek you are reffering just to the textures. Yup, who knows, mayby that model was in game all the time but we just could not see it due to some graphics bug.

When you equipped armor skins or the 87 class pre patch, in the customization menu it would have the proper skin/model for a few seconds, but it would revert to default every time.

I was just doing some testing in game and… hmmm… is the cannon anim fucked up? Mayby its intended that way, for cannon to go in to fire position only when you turn your targeting system on? Makes sens actually, don’t know, but the way it was before, when it was in up possition all the time and followed your look camera was bit… strange. Mayby that is the way its supose to be? Not sure about thaht, wolud be fucking FANTASTIC for Illfonic to make a small coment on that…
