And honestly, these are fair points. Kinda. Clash isn’t for everyone, but the core of Predator: Hunting Grounds is the Hunt experience.

This is a bad analogy, and don’t quote me on this as “official company statement”, but for me personally, it’s kinda like an ARAM mode. Yeah you don’t get the full Hunt experience, but that’s to be expected, as it’s literally called “Clash”. But ARAMs can be fun to play. And for me, Clash is fun to play when I’m not feeling the “dedication” to go through a whole Hunt match.

What’s coming next? Well, that’s not announced yet, but when we can talk about it, we will.

I agree that it is not Predator focused, which is why many of us bought this game. As for James Cameron, he’s something of a Forum celebrity and gem and no malice is ever intended, it’s just humour to stop the threads descending into chaos at times👍🏼

There are a few places that feel unfinished, I won’t argue with that. I will point out that I enjoy the no intro part and that it loads while we wait in the lobby, that’s a cool feature I wouldn’t have expected.

@Killachriz96 I feel you man. I do, but every new mode is not likely to make everyone happy. That isn’t a reason not to do it or to add things.
In a couple weeks the players who don’t like Clash just won’t think about it or play it. It doesn’t change the core Hunt experience and is it’s own thing.
Have you tried Pred in it yet, holy OP Batman. You’re a fucking death machine, it’s great fun.

Hunt matches are 15 mins maybe 16 - 18 mins at max if you don’t have that amount of time to play a game then maybe you shouldn’t buy it, or play games at all for that matter. You make it seem like the matches take your whole day from you.

Indeed. And with the new map added to Hunt, it got some love which is awesome. Played on it a few times and it’s gorgeous, and for a Predator player it’s perfect…except for the cave system😏

New map by far the best part of the update. The balance changes to the Pred classes, I need time to adjust too but so far, feels good.

Just for context: I’m a dad. When I’m playing a game mode that can completely ruin the experience for others if I have to ditch, and I’m not playing with close friends that would understand, I try to be very conscious about my time and options. I don’t want to be a shitty teammate because I’m choosing to not be a shitty dad.

So when I get everyone down and settled and I get to game, then I’ll focus in on the more hardcore modes. But if it’s just after work, or over lunch, I’ll option to play game modes where I don’t feel bad if I have to get up and leave the computer, or at least I can reliably complete them in a short period of time.

Ok I get it, but again this is my feedback, I’m not trying to “attack” you. I believe that this game had something special but if this is the type of game modes the devs have planned, I don’t want to be a part of it. I like the lore of the Yautja, and I believe that this game could be so much more than a generic shooter, but this game mode shows none of that.

I feel very strongly that this game mode has no place in this game. That is why I chose to put my opinion in the feedback forum. I don’t appreciate someone saying that someone else can be his “jizz cleaner,” when I’m trying to make a point.

I am of the opinion that they have lots planned, and this was the first step, the next one will be more to your liking. I wish I could give you more but I can only speculate and OKH has made a point of not giving me a damn thing to go on.

PS. I think lore is incoming to but not how we expect it. OKH may be very good at hiding his cards but he did share that he does more than deal with us. I think part of that may be related to what we’ll see in the next 6 months. They have a long plan, don’t get discouraged because we made a pit stop at the wrong gas station.
