There could also be a second queue, like in Factions MP from TLOU, where you can select “No parties” or “Parties”.
The difference between those two queues was stark. In one, you can get away with a lot. In the other, you could easily get your ass kicked by a squad of Iranians. (I did, and I joined them afterward, lol).
It would give any Pred player the challenge, or lack thereof, that they are looking for.

How to reduce loading into an empty match. Loaded in as Pred, there were 3 FT. One left, then there were 2. The last FT left, and I waited for 5 mins having already waited 10 just to get this far 🙄

People join the lobby. You pick what you’d prefer to play. Game randomly picks a Pred. End of fucking story. It’s already available in private matches. So why the fuck is it absent from public matches?!
I’ll tell you why. Because this developer’s still got its collective head up its ass and it’ll be like that for the foreseeable future.

Remove reinforcements, dead ft members leave match and cycle into new matches, no longer 4 ft needed for every pred at a given time
remove soloing private matches for farming, force players back onto pub matches
FT verit rewards kept upon death, so picking them up as you go is no longer worthless.
Rework the rest of the game so players stop leaving, and we get more players.
If they force gameplay in quickplay fuck their game, the main reason I’m against it is that I constantly end up on the same map and mission and it would be foolish to make it so challenges are unaffected because most of the player base now is using private matches with friends to kill the queue times for themselves and their friends, and also things like 25 muds dont make me wanna play so I solo those and get on with playing another game for the day. Those who refuse to make friends and private match suffer the queue times, even as predator this game is more fun with friends then quickplay with toxic shit fireteams
I mean no other game lets you go into private and farm challenges and shit solo. Im not saying we should get rid of privates. just saying either rewards for them need to be removed, or you need to have other players with you to play them to prevent solo farming.

Quickplay sucks. If I go solo in it I’m with people who cant find their ass with both hands the match makes 2 to 3 minutes before everyone is dead what is the fun in that, I play games to relax and be entertained matches that hardly exfil with no time to get veritanium are both pointless and annoying and I don’t care to cater to people who dont make friends from the community and if they force it I wont play plain and simple
Unfortunately its a multiplayer game. first and foremost. If enough people think like you, none of us will have a game to play anymore…
Still not changing that if they force anything I would dump this game like the hot trash it is. Private matches are the only reason I’ve stuck around at all and I’m usually in parties of 15 people playing 3 separate games so I dont see the game dying from us doing that. If people dont want to be social that’s not my problem
If you are in full private matches then you arent the kind of players im talking about punishing. im talking about people who load into a private match, by themselves, and farm shit out. I gurantee you a VAST majority of the playerbase does that shit. Especially when grinding verit.
get them out of privates, and we will have a lot more players to work with.

And yes, Im one of these fucking players. I abuse it as much as everyone else. its fucking dumb though, because I can abuse it, I literally NEVER have to play FT on pub matchmaking.
