This unfortunately sounds like wishful thinking, I could believe Aliens as a separate game… with cross overs but a Terminator sounds off.
If xenomorphs were to be added
Guys! Just staaahp! This is a predator game! Leave this for a God damn AVP game because no matter how much you want it or ask for it. It will never be added. Putting xenomorphs into the game would just make it a AvP game which is completely different than what they’re trying to do here.
Can we as a community just focus on what this game actually needs? And that would be fixes! Not stupid unnecessary content like xenomorphs
I also think Face Huggers deserve more attention in the over all media about either franchise. The forest scene in Requiem, is something I think would fit nicely into the way PHG is played. They’d add a level of caution.
Obviously having them instantly get settled on FT faces isn’t something that would be fun, so I think having a period, like a bleed out timer were a teammate can save you. Similar to the scene with Ripley in Aliens.
Tracking a FH’er as a Pred would be satisfying. Eliminating them after they grab an NPC wouldn’t be hard but catching them would. Maybe a challenge where a few are released. The FH try to ambush and don’t just scurry everywhere. They try and take someone in a private place.
Predator has yet to have a real video game without Xenomorphs in them. Alien has had a few made relatively recently without Yautja in them. There were far fewer desperate cries for predators in them.
There is far more to the predator universe than AVP and that deserves to be explored. Stop limiting the potential with this nonsense. Give the Predators their own spotlight to shine, without relying on gimmicks.
I will permit the terminator to be used.

If certain parties agree I will re launch this game with a T1000 instead of a pred. The FT will be Sarah, John, Reese and the T800.
It will be 8k 120FPS and have 20 maps at launch set in different time periods.

Even then I’m not sure, I feel like people would just hound illfonic to bring it back or keep it as a permanent game mode.
Then they can release it as a fairly cheap dlc. So you can play it in
PM, with the understanding events may still happen.
Or it would just be a permanent cross over. I still think it unlikely that illfonic is trying to have 3 game running concurrently. Sounds like a nightmare.
If they bring in serpents, they will also bring hordes of alien and AVP fans causing substantial growth in the player base and selling more copies of the game

I would be in full support of them adding Aliens to the game, but wont be overly disappointed if it’s simply not part of their game design or vision.
If they DID do it, and did it well, it would certainly be a great additional selling point.
But I feel like if this was going to be an “AvP” game, it would have been planned as such from the start.

I’d like to switch between both, but third-person would probably be better if I had to choose one.

Just so you know I never said I wanted aliens added I just said if they were what would you prefer but to be honest if they did add xenos highly doubtful but still if they did I would like it and if you don’t want aliens in the game then just don’t play the game modes with alien in it you know
In my opinion new content is always good notice I said new so repeating the same content like sharers isn’t going to work out
I would love aliens but only as bots. Make then replace the human AI to some degree. Perhaps have some map with an instalation where the FT has to go trough enemy human AI in certain parts and then vs alien AI in other parts. Aliens need to be limited to easy to kill ones to keep the game oriented on the predator but it would be fun to have to kill aliens.
if this game is still healthy in 1 years why not. (but it wont XD)

@James-Cameron Avatar 2 is six years late and counting. And that was already an extreme wait for it before you didn’t deliver.
@BadBlood The AVP fans are already here. They came for the predator and are asking for Aliens. We won’t get the Alien fans because it has a Predator. You might sell more copies, but the player base won’t grow.
@Dragon7029 That might be your opinion, but here’s a better one. Good content is always good. New content can be bad. And there is still all of the Predator Universe to play with, you don’t need to resort to crossover corner to get new stuff.
All in all, the Predator deserves its time in the spotlight without it being stolen away by the Aliens. Isolation and Colonial Marines were better off without the Predator, Why can’t the reverse me true? At the end of the day, this game is an homage to the original movie, using lore from the rest of the franchise to round it out. Aliens have no place in the original movie.

The movie is so advanced that James Cameron had to wait for technology to catch up. This is why it took him 12 years to get the original made.
Unfortunately covid has caused a further delay due to the weakness of your immune systems. The studio have delayed release. This is ok though as it gives James Cameron more time to make it amazing. We have already developed new underwater motion capture that will blow your mind.
Do you guys remember Predator Concrete Jungle and the mission that had the aliens. That was a game that was solely focused on the Predator but still managed to incorporate aliens without stealing the spotlight from the Predator.
I think Aliens could fit in this game. Perhaps in a new map that has aliens as the bots you have to fight instead of soldiers.
