All right man so Iā€™ll tell you what I know so as long as you donā€™t run ads on videos you use other artists music for you should be fine and when you do monetize yourself make sure those videos that you have other artist music in are not running ads your best bet or at least what Iā€™m doing is section them off as tribute videos you can still make tribute videos what I always do is make sure that I let people know in the description that this is a tribute video made for artistic perspective and I always credit the artist that way YouTube Knows that this is a tribute video personally I like making tribute videos thereā€™s nothing better than getting inspired by a song and clashing out with one of your favorite game titles and bringing your ideas to life

PS it will copyright claim you every time and thatā€™s YouTube algorithm letting you know hey itā€™s cool you use this but you canā€™t make money off of it so do not monetize it weā€™re marking less as a copyright claim and all that this means is you better not run ads on it make money which I donā€™t think you can until a certain criteria anyway so I wouldnā€™t worry about it at the moment and you have to watch for certain artists music sometimes itā€™s blocked in certain countries or if the other artists in certain countries its blocked in the United States this can happen just pay attention to what YouTube flags plus they email you info on what to do I hope this helps

Usually with music youā€™re going to get a copyright claim unless heā€™s using the free copyright music from YouTube now if heā€™s using a clip thereā€™s a good chance he might not get a copyright claim on that clip
