The usual 2 weeks limitation is regular without sending emails and so on.
What happened here is that he basically sent emails to Sony to complain how shitty this game is, and they were so nice to make an exception and still give him the refund.

Doesn’t function as was stated when sold ? Yes.

Do you really think I am that lucky? 😁 or could it be possible im not the first to point it out? Because I seriously doubt i am the only person to refund.

Unless i am accused of lying? Making false claims to try get a refund? When you put forward a case you get to upload 5 files (which was news to me as I have never refunded a game in my life) , they say it can take days to look over , they sent me a refund 40 minutes later .

Whether people agree with me or not , something I pointed out must have been accurate? Or they would have told me to go fuck myself.

And it wasn’t the complaints process either , it was a refund request and two months after hunting grounds released Sony was sued for not giving refunds for such products . I also tried to refund within the first two weeks also and was told no .

Sony is to blame here, as is covid for fouling up releasing, patching etc. Illfonic takes their orders from Sony. Sure, there are issues in development and stuff, but its Sony’s ultimate decision on what happens with this game.
