I'm a murderer

My ps3 and ps2 controllers still work and could survive nuclear fallout. PS4s the only ones that have failed multiple times within a year.

Switch Joycons are absolutely terrible peices of plastic though literally third party options are more reliable.

I didn’t open the housing on the sensors

Might try later after I bought a new controller

Yea I haven’t had any issues with controllers except for PS4 and it was with a brand new one

Maybe red or some custom like camouflage

ooh camo

Very predarific

Alright I’ve opened the housing on the sensors and cleaned them with rubbing alcohol @Arnie.schwarzewigger

Seems to have done the trick

Nice , if it happens again check for the blueish colour on them .

We are in Predator forum or not?!

What does that signify? Oxidation?

No clue , I just took it as they sort of corroded, like discolouration in a faulty appliance

Ah well it’s a brand new controller so I don’t think it’s that

They maybe go faulty ? Like a fuse? It doesn’t always fix it but its the first thing I check and change them

Seems there was some metallic residue on the sensor

How old was it? Have you maybe spilled something? They do wear , ive had to replace a few usb adapters on them aswell , batteries are cheap also . Handy to have

Brand new

I bought maybe 6 months ago and only used it for a weekend

Not so good , as long as its working now?

So far so good

It would literally make me look up randomly

Yeah its a pain in the ass , it used to move me forward when ADS in certain games

I’m just gonna chalk it up as busted

It has to be right?

It must be a connection issue with how the right stick is attached to the board

I dont think they are built to last

Might as well pick up a soldering kit and switch out the boards

Maybe start a cartridge restoration gig on the side
