I'm gonna say it.

Most of it I ignore

At least I don’t have predator derangement syndrome 😅

Schaeffer’s Syndrome isn’t so bad

Who has predator derangement syndrome? There is a difference from hating for no reason on a game , and not letting someone piss on your head and tell you its rain .

You know alot about syndromes 😄 , I will throw you an invite for aliens if I manage to get on later 👍🏻😄

Or better yet , finish ghost recon ha

FUCK AFTE right now

Just sent you an invite 👍🏻

Don’t think I’m going to play much online games for a little

My sister is here with her kids and the internet is slow as fuck as a result

Only the case if they add pvp.
They won’t.

And it would be third person over the shoulder colonial marines crap best case scenario, but with busted setups meant for pve this time around
or back4bloods shrinking arena that everyone adores because they didnt want to balance a pvp campaign with how ridiculous the cards get.

You have to have several layers of RNG to make an exclusively pve game feel dynamic and replayable.
IE Risk of Rain, Vermintide, Left 4 Dead with their AI directors and randomized items and mod support. Deep Rock Galactic with its randomly generated maps and destructible terrain - soon to get mod support. KF2 doesn’t have much in terms of RNG and also just spits enemies at you in waves but its carried by its sheer gunplay, gore system, and slo-mo - KF2’s pvp suuucks by the way.

Anyways shooting at bullet sponges as they respawn at the nearest vent but on a different map for 20 min with your challenge card on doesn’t really cut it with the rest above that are like the only pve games aside from MMOs that are doing well past a year in. And its not like the above are AAA games.

Like I said , far from a fan boy but it will be interesting to see where they take it , ot might be good or might be bad . I dont really have much invested in it if I’m honest , but the point I made was it resembles the alien franchise more than this game resembled predator . Alien launched with more fleshed out perk systems and thats the only things lt has going for it , not the gameplay itself , but you can tell alot more thought and respect for the franchise of which it was born . It looks and feels like an alien game , hunting grounds is a cheap call of duty that just so happens to feature a predator .

Let’s see where alien is after 12 months , we know where predator is after 12 months and thats what I make the comparison on

It’s Cold Iron Studios first major game, and they’ve done a stellar job on it. Yes it’s a PvE game, but they’ve done very well to make the higher difficulties absolutely hard but still be able to be beaten. The animations for the AI Aliens are brilliant, when you stumble a runner, their legs slide out and they skid to the side, making a lot of the aliens feel a lot more real. I don’t really need to compare the AI with PHG. It actually has a pretty decent tutorial as well. They’re already announcing bug fixes etc. which is already a tier above Illfonic.

They’re adding a new class next month, all the attachments etc. Will be grind to win unlike PHG where the best content is locked behind a pay wall, but even then the weapons behind that pay wall are just given out for free, making it essentially just a skin you pay for.

Can’t wait to see what they do in a year.
