This game player base is literally easy mode and nightmare mode for both Pred and FT.
The only thing that makes FT a bit more difficult is the axe and playing solo. As soon as you squad up even with not so good players, it becomes easy mode until you find a good pred, which is rare.
Finding good ft’s to play against as Pred, is just as rare. I got bored of playing pred because of that. The 5 minute wait is not worth the 3 minute matches that everyone leaves because they expect you to fight them like if this was a beat em up game

He should watch Sam’s vids when he plays Pred against these guys, and learn. You never, ever run melee against them.

TBH against that group of players very few weapons/gear/builds work as Pred. You will see almost all will rely on traps, disc, plasma, bow or combi and tracker and the moment they start bringing something else they fail.
There’s not much gameplay variety for pred at high level. And if 4 decent players bring the Support FM, then even average players like me can win (probably not kill, but exfil) against players like Sam, Thunder, Beer, etc

You can watch someone play all day. Doesn’t mean you’ll be able to copy that person’s actions in the same setting. It’s like watching professional sports. Doesn’t mean you can do what you’re watching. With time and practice sure. But only over time with consistency and practice will you able to replicate it on a similar level. Kid just doesn’t know what getting good means.

I’ve noticed that, they all seem to use the same Pred builds when fighting each other. But that’s simply how the game is “balanced”, though, you’re forced to rely on distant engagement because of the damage output of the FT. I can run the freaking war club right now on a basic Scout with shit perks and 90% of the teams I find I will kill. Its that other 10% or less that you NEED those specific loadouts for.

I will point out when I look at the player base In this game. When it comes to the best of the best in terms of predator and fireteam players. I’ll never compare PC players to console players. It’s because of how much better hardware/settings some PC players can have that allow them to do things console players can’t. So I always compare my predator skill set to other console predator players. If we’re talking about skill.

This is the main problem for people who play only pred. They don’t know how powerful FT is and most of the time you get shitty teams that don’t really allow you to practice and hone your skills. Then you match against a death squad and is game over in less than 60 seconds

I used to only main Pred, for the longest time. I had a lot of anxiety about jumping into FT because I just didn’t want to lose all the time, you know? But after watching people like Sam, seeing how honestly easy it can be at its core, I tried it, and its actually a lot of fun. Its a healthy thing to play both sides, and regularly, to get a grasp of how both sides are played.
