Judging by the fact I haven’t seen hardcore fans (including you) give up on the game…I’d say the return was positive. That’s just my mindset though. I’ve worked in the corporate world too long. I get where you’re coming from but…this is the business model that works these days and apparently it still is.

I protested Dante right up until a week before Valkryie was released. Adamantly refused to buy him until I saw “how good he was”. Honestly he’s the most versatile FT class in the game. Lore wise he’s fun but ultimately expendable…in the end…hell he’s done more for the game than I ever could and I tried.

No. This is clearly dumb and you’re really trying to make it make sense. This is a very isolating DLC. I promise I’m as massive Lynch fan as there is. I was in high school in beastmodes prime. Loved him, but ya know what I don’t want, to hunt predators with him.
And if so, I’ll get it. Same with Royce. Probably wouldn’t want to see anyone else from Predators though. Maybe Rolland? I don’t think illfonic is adding canonically dead Fireteam members though.

Most people that play the game are Americans. Dante is his own character and is a great self marketing idea by Marshawn Lynch, who put his likeness in multiple video games.

I guarantee I’m a bigger Marshawn Lynch fan than both of you lol. Y’all seem biased toward the game. I’m saying, even as a fan of his, putting him in this game is stupid.
I mean i’ll be honest, didn’t care for the NFL Player guest staring when Dante was coming out, but Dante as a Class is pretty solid. Surprised I don’t see him more often.

It’s not clearly dumb. Might not have been my call were I the one making it, may not have turned out the way they planned (or did, I dunno the sales numbers) but I bet Marshawn Lynch got more attention to the game than generic voice actor.

There’s a degree of homage in it too, with Carl Weathers coming from a pro football background.
