It happened again and I'm getting tired of it.

Not sure, but from what ppl are saying you can recreate this bug/glitch as pred almost every time

Unfortunately my testimony is all I have at this time as it happened awhile ago and for whatever reason I didn’t save the clip

Will provide the necessary info should it happen to me again

I hope someone else can provide this as I am currently taking a break from the game until the next DLC

I’d love to get those steps. I think QA’s found some of those steps being passed around, but it didn’t work for them. If we can get steps that are actually 100% consistent in application, then we can squish it quick. EG some of the longtime bugs fixed in the last hotfix: Once we were able to get reliable replication, those bugs didn’t stand a chance :p

I got my tech start in hardware, and it’s amazing the issues that only seem to crop up once the consumer public gets their hands on it, but it totally makes sense. There’s 730 hours in a month, total. So if we chained a QA guy to a desk and didn’t let him leave or sleep, he could test 730 hours of the game. In the first hour of a patch getting out there, there’s thousands upon thousands of tested hours being played by people with every corner case imaginable. So if we can get reliable steps, it’s a game changer for QA.

LOL
Right, I’ve been told the steps and I have tried it (for educational reasons only!!!) but it was in private solo. I saw no change to my pred apart from energy bar flicker like from overload, but thats not strange quz the steps actually will leed to an overload.
I’m afraid to do it in pub with ppl for obvious reasons XDDDD

Like @Fire said we played @GetToLaChappa in a private and this is what he looked like. From his perspective there was nothing out of the ordinary.

Below are two pics that I took when this happened.

I forgot I took that pic.
Though this ones going to be really complicated to fix since now theres also figuring out why I can see 2 parts but you can see anything lol.

Idk but apparently it’s becoming more prominent.

This happens on FT as well on clash. At least on FT, player is unaware of its invisibility. I would expect Predator player isn’t either.

About pred fully invisible vs partially invisible. I can confirm. The few instances it has happened to me pred is partially visible (like, bow and wristblades remain visible)

More helpful than you think, though. I believe each plasma caster and wrist blade is a discrete piece of equipment that’s locked to the class. So why did two pieces of equipment become visible to you, but not to @REYNOSO_FUA11. I mean, it’s not ā€œAHA!ā€ but it’s a definite clue.

So I’ve mentioned this a few times but I don’t know the logistics behind it (I fix trucks not games). No one can break a product faster and better than the customer. Is there anyway to get a sample size of the player base to do bug testing? Signed NDAs for volunteers and what not so patch notes aren’t leaked but I think it’d go a LOOOONG way towards smoother patch releases?

To the OP

I love that this video shows how useless the self-revive syrette is if it has a 5 second animation

Maybe if they focused on hotfixes and fix one thing at a time so you can see what other systems might have been affected

Only useless if your team doesnt cover you.

if your team is there, then there is no need for the thing

I agree with you. Illfonic needs to work with the community to help with the game. There are plenty of people who would want to help improve the game just for the sake of making the game better.

Not always.
But if it picks you up right away then we have the same problem as feild medic.

what problem? LOL

The one that a lot of people have brought up.
Feild medic revive speed.
It’s a problem.
And the health it restores too.

Mainly just the speed tho.

Nah I’d actually argue that. Especially with randoms. As it stands now when you’re down most players still focus on keeping guys away from you. They lose focus on you and it works great. Especially if someone is close enough to at least distract. I like self revive right where it’s at. It’s niche but when it works it’s game changer

I don’t see how it compares.

Self revive is a one time thing on one player

Field medic can revive each player up to three times

The self-revive needs to be fast in order to be effective, otherwise nobody uses it unless you are surrounded by a horde of AI, which more than likely down you again by the time you run away from them
