I don’t see it as a Game of Victory or Defeat.
I see as a Game that players have very well Defined Missions.

I am IGL for Team Scar.
I’m running a tournament that is completely revamping the rules, modifiers, and bans just to make a competitive experience out of this game.
It took us a hard month of practice and testing with these rules and we were going to take the results of the if the tournament to further our rules to balance until backlash hit us and now we’re throwing everything away to meet the expectations of the public which will require more testing and requires us to throw out our tournament ruleset.
I’m sorry I’m not taking the gaming experience seriously because I don’t care about how a PVP game ignores reality for the sake of gameplay?
Essentially the bomb results in the government gaining control over the area giving us the win.
Do you really need the game to hand hold you and tell you it’s okay to hunt the predator?
Eshtion, in a General way, why not join the Community in an Order for Illfonic to develop a Game Mode that is Specific to Duel with the Predator ?.
I’ve been making several posts of this type.
We could receive Orders Directly from OWLF.
No more orders from Zeus.
It could be a Different Voice; An Director from OWLF.
They would show reports of the Appearance of a Predator.
Or some Predators in a given Area.
But we would have a larger team mode.
No AI on Maps.
Only the Predator and the Team.
We would not have to seek anything.
Only Find and Kill the Predator (or Predators).
But to make everything more difficult, there would be no reinforcements.
And the Pigs would be removed from the map.
To Balance the Game.
If the Soldier Died, He Died. He stays in the Team Cheering Session.
And the Predator gets a Limited Use of the Healing Kit.
That would be Challenging!.
I am the Royce on any random Ft! I will stay hidden and ambush the Predator after the player starts attacking the Rando!

To be fair you don’t need to mud up unless you play Dutch, it’s more of a waste of time than anything else so i don’t blame people for not doing it, it’s good against potatoes preds i guess? But when they’re potatoes you don’t need to hide anyway and can just melt them.
As for them firing as soon as they spawn, the Pred already knows where you are anyways because he starts earlier than FT so it doesn’t matter at all.
Can agree on the bad teamwork part but that’s litterally any game ever, especially when solo queuing soooooo…yeah.
The mission really doesn’t matter since most of the people goal is to either kill the pred or die trying, it’s really just the thing you do in the meantime if the Pred didn’t get to you early or he’s playing small PP mode and is passive as hell, so you can requeue asap and give him a huge L.
Honestly tho, best is to adapt and use a loadout meant to do everything if you really want to solo queue that much as FT, it will make the game immensly more fun to play and frustrate you less.

But Zeus’ phrases are always the same.
If new phrases were still recorded and added, that’s fine.
Not even the New Soldiers added have different phrases!
Even Zeus reporting to “Dutch” He speaks as if it were a common “Vudoo”!
It would be right for Him to say something like “Major Alan Schaeffer, the mission is …”.
And during the mission, He should call you “Dutch”. Not from “Vudoo”!
I only believe my own two eyes and that has never happened to me or anyone i watched play the game, would love to be proven wrong tho, but i really doubt any good pred would fall for that.

What do you expect when there’s only 5 maps and most of the missions are repeated.
They did for the new map as well as some on excavation.
Dutch and Dante have different lines than the standard classes and even then the standard classes have different voice actors depending on what the face model is. The only one I don’t know about is the OWLF agent.
That sounds like a lot of extra time and effort for something meaningless especially since you have to factor in multiple of the same characters, old and young Dutch in the same team as well as Dante or OWLF Agent.
Not only this but Dutch isn’t the end all be all to the FT since one man does not make a team hence Zeus referring to the whole team when speaking I.e. voodoo.
