Might freezing be due to internet connection problems? At least for some people it seems to be more frequent.
Maybe somebody in game is on their mom’s wifi, but the freeze leads right into the blue screen

Personally I loved Doom 3 most - but the first Doom I played on PS4 was Doom 2016.
Doom 2016 has the best PS4 control / controller handling - compared to the (admittedly just some half a dozen) games I already played on PS4 intensely.
So, if Illfonic needs a good example for a smooth, intuitive, bugless control in first person perspektive - I absolutely would agree to take that…
