JessicaRomina & TheNomadClan OC Swap Challenge
@NomadClan hey dude, fuck you for having fun with the game.
Honestly grinds my gears seeing how much effort you put into your videos over this dead game…
Like why don’t you… get a hobby or something.
Like… read a book… not about Yautja. LMAO
(Can’t keep a straight face typing any of this shit)
How do these people do it…? Daily?
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
raises hand
Wait.

Mass’s thread died for this
I think you know that’s damn near impossible lol
Nothings more intertwining then Predator Book Lore.🤣
But seriously, I’ve swomped so many teams with just the wrist blade. Making ‘builds’ is pointless because they pretty much all do the same damn damage aside from ones that flat-out 1-shot. And using a hook? Is that supposed to be impressive? The hook is a meme weapon that flat-out 3-shots in quick succession and everyone knows it; pounce on FT player, three strike (you can even jump around between each to avoid less gunfire), down 'em and move to the next; ya got four downed FTs crawling around you in under 10-15sec. Also, those backstories are the most special snowflake things I’ve read in predator cringe RP in a while.
I wasn’t using the hook, I was using the War Club……dear god that’s a weapon I never wanna use again. It has its uses I’m sure but that is a special kind of person who uses that.
Idk I like what people come up with for their Original Characters that they create, makes it kinda special to them and had kept the community alive when nearly on flatline for awhile. Kinda hold a certain respect, but then again what makes it different between us making our own lore and what lore has been created for Canon characters? Equally are both entertaining right?
I mean, I HAVE a backstory for my valkyrie; I even have art of her; had her backstory for about 12 years now (I was in a pred discord long before the game was even made)–BUT, I don’t think the fourms is a place to mention it, not for this game.
Why not? It’s yours and you own it. People like me love that kinda of dedication that you’ll go out your way to make a story for your playable character. Trust me when I say I think it’s okay to do such things here if I’ve been doing it for over a year and people love it.
People love the added lore to characters they didn’t know where Canon & loved the new takes on characters i just made up.^^
Well, why haven’t you just like…made some ‘Backstory thread’ for others 'n such to post here?
I have, didn’t get much attention and was a handful of people. That’s why I make the posts you see often
Ah well, see? It’s just like I said; this isn’t the kinda community that’s into that sorta thing. Me personally, I actually do RP on FF14 with my viera, and I also did with my draenei back in my WoW days. Obviously people who play a pretty generic shooter with an ill-made 3rd person perspective play aren’t going to have too much thought on RP/backstories.
That’s true I suppose, but for me it feels weird making a Predator Class & Build not for it to have its own backstory or their lore. I do what I do because I guess I’m trying to normalize it being okay to have lore for a character that’s created. While also teaching others about the Predator Universe that people didn’t know about. Like the Enforcer Build I did not too long ago, there wasn’t any lore I added but decided to explain the character and had fun with it by saying it in my own way^^
Yeah, I feel that. If I didn’t put backstories and ‘character’ into my pred, I would have probably quit in the first week of its release. I quit for a bit and then came back when they released valkyrie because she looks exactly like how Xon-Rel/Gryphon looks in my art, and how she’s described in terms of bodyshape; she’s young, slim, and wears ancient-looking armor that’s been handed down to every matriarch of her clan of bad bloods.
You have to agree it’s also really fun to do too
Yep. And in some ways, it’d effect the way I played: Sparing defaults if they played really stupid and instead just let them escape; saving old-man Dutch for last just to have a wrist blade fight with him; and my enjoyment for Clash at times.
In a way it dictates how you play as a character, how you approach certain situations or how you plan and attack. Are you one to go in head first or are you a attack the one straying from the group and using him as bait.
The latter, I used to do SO often. I’d down a guy, waiting a sew seconds while spamming the “Help me [mimic]!” around him, and then throw a smart disc down and buzzsaw the rest of them, then finish them all off with a slam (if I was in a hurry, anyway)
Nice combo strategy
