Not only I don’t get a reward, I get PUNISHED for disarming… Another braindead wave of AI to shoot.
My strongest build is from the netgun and the bow with elder. While implementing strategies with traps and melee and using strong range attacks. I do Quick scoping with the bow as well quite alot. I’ve seen a few pro pred players do it as well. Most commonly known that does. Sharpy.
I was talking strictly about your melee 1v1 fight. A scythe or elder sword would’ve ensured that ended differently.
Personally I would drop the netgun, that works well against randoms, against competent teams its useless since you can cut your mate out and cover for him.
Don’t get me wrong haha I may use different builds against friends in a lobby for fun with combistick elder sword etc… or against randoms. But in public matches Its always safer to play at youre best.
Netgun is brilliant and helpful in situations where timing is everything. Against a 3 man deathsquad If there are two up and 1 death squad member is down instead of just claiming him net gun 2 of them or whatever. Or 1. So you can claim safely taking reduced damage and retreat. Every second counts.
If you have time to netgun 2 of them as they shoot at you… I question how good they are. Personally If if see my mate is netted, I go behind him and cut him out. I seriously don’t see this tactic working but if it does for you… From my experience its almost impossible to net people, more then 1 when you have a good team. If you get close and stop to throw those nets, you lose most of your life as you net one.
It always varies by the situation. But every second counts. But If I net gun 1 of them. Those few seconds it takes to knife you’re boy free. Im quick claiming and running. Or im quick shooting the down guy with the bow or shooting him with the plasma.
I am not a good predator but I’ve never seen any of the good predators use the netgun against good premades. Its bow and leaping with the ocasional wristblade into the mix. But again, if it works for you, it works for you.
The net gun is also the only thing that can stop parrying for a few seconds.
Exactly you do what works for you and adapt to what need be done in the situation.
In a 1v1 yeah, sure. If its even 2 good people, netting (in my experience as FT) its bad. Quite seriously before you net the other guy, who moves around and evades, I am out of my net. The result is you with less health.
Indeed. I have messed up quite a few times using the netgun. But as with anything after alot of trial and error and learning from mistakes. You learn how to use it properly and when. It doesn’t always work there are times where its pointless to use it. So I use other tactics to down the ft or get the kill… but if used correctly as with any strategy or tactic the outcome is always worth it. Bottom line in those super tough games. Every second counts and knowing when not to do something and change it up makes all the difference.
So…you don’t just run around and collect the remaining VT instead of guarding a body that only gets you XP?

As a side note I am super happy that the death squads are back, there wasn’t much point in playing if 90% of the time I’m chasing squealing fortnite gamers around the jungle
Killing unworthy prey or randoms like fortnight kids gets boring after awhile… Always seek the challenge in anything. The Elite Hunters are always Most Thrilled for the most challenging hunts. I gotta run guys gotz to feed z dogs. They turnin beasty on me! Hahaha they are hungry. But anyway good talk ill let you know when the video is posted.
