It’s well known the forum here is a dumpster fire that when it’s not Jungle Hunter threads we’re constantly plagued by posts dragging even forum moderators. It’s been like this since launch.

Every other day we have posters making an ass of themselves and I see no reason why Illfonic would get involved in that. “but if they only communicated”, no. Just no. You don’t get to be an asshole and expect people will bend over backwards to want to chat with you.

Other than that they’re likely at the mercy of Fox or Sony (perhaps both) to not talk about what they’re working on. Whether this comes from the license holder, Sony, or even heads of Illfonic we don’t know but they’ve made it clear they aren’t allowed to talk about releases. They’re as far as we can tell trying the best they can to do this in a pandemic where it looks like at least one Dev is based out of a closet. I’m willing to cut them some slack for that especially given they’ve been putting out content every month with one exception. For this game we’re going better than Avengers. We could have it a lot worse.

I truly think if we get a snow map, we will get the AVP update. To perfect for them not to do it bc AVP’s antarctic setting, and if it is a holiday drop we will likely get Scar as DLC with the snow map.

But hey, what do I know?

Be ready for disappointment too.
