Just what I was talking about.

“whenever we make a statement about PHG, we have to go through approvals internally, with the publisher, and with the ip holder. Unfortunately not everything makes it through the pipeline.”

Do you mean ANY statement? Even if it’s just ideas, speculation or “maybe promises” etc? Does everything you say is constantly being monitored and checked in this forum by the publisher and ip holder? Can you not discuss and reveal / say anything without their stamp of approval about YOUR OWN game on YOUR OWN FORUM?

People have thought that for months that its a total cop out.

From the moment the game launched its obvious that they didn’t have much ready and just beat around the Bush for months , it took over a year (from July 2020) just to raise the level cap again after raising it by 50 after launch .

Even when they dropped fireteam specialisations (which imbalanced the game) it took over 6 months after that to add pred specialisations. The whole “we can’t talk” doesn’t excuse their poor bug fixes and now its the players who are negative 🙄.

Not to mention they had another game in the pipeline from 2019 , which isn’t unusual for developers to do , but to have this game in such a state while juggling another (possibly ghostbusters now aswell) , its a total joke .

This game belongs to a decent triple A studio.

Who?

I meant it should’ve been made by a decent, triple A studio. The franchise, Predator universe is too good to be given to a small, very low budget company with not much programming talent
IP holders shouldn’t have let Illfonic work on this type of game, but they don’t know anything right about what should be done right in the gaming industry, so I’m not surprised.

I agree , I thought you meant illfonic were a triple A developer 😁

It makes sense , mate . Dont worry about it .

These guys have a history of dumping games and jumping ship to another . Look up revival , dead alliance etc

It’s just infuriating that such a franchise as Predator with SUCH POTENTIAL to be SO AWESOME (as a game) has to be ruined by small companies like this.

You’re correct. You’re also forgetting that “maybe promises” tend to be taken as “absolutely will be in the game” on these forums. :P

This is great news! Shows there’s so much more in store! đŸ‘đŸ»

I truly wish Illfonic success so they could make a great game we would all love to death. But the reality shows otherwise sadly :(

That message was from March 2020.

So no , it doesn’t mean that .

I still think it’s hilarious they kept Star Citizen on their portfolio despite being dropped from it.

They’re an art asset outsourcing company and not much else.
