On Derailed when the Predator is cloaked and stays still on top of the blue buildings, can be seen. probably because of the lighting. You can’t see it to the smallest detail, but you can see it’s figure just standing there.

I don’t want to come across like I’m attacking you, as I’m not.

However i must point out as a Pred main since launch with a silly amount of hours gameplay, I’m definitely invisible when I stand still in amongst the FT. They walk around me with no clue I’m there.

100% invisibility is a feature of this game.

Thanks that gives me something to go on, but I of course cannot test this alone.

I will see if I can find a helper. If you are PS then I will have to find another PC person.

Any specific building, or any of them? Still seems odd as the lighting on the maps is baked as far as I can tell.

There’s dynamic lighting, just that it never really changes (no day might cycle for example).

Thank f***ing God the Predator is actually invisible for the majority, because I find it extremely easy to track it down and win after the first encounter.
I’ll uninstall and reinstall the game, maybe it fixes it.

Also (not to be a jerk) you said you could see Predator no matter what it was doing, and not just under a specific circumstance on a specific map in a specific location.

No worries, I just do not want Predators to go off of potentially false information and accept it as truth.

When it is probably a bug and should be reported for fixing.

But first we need to reproduce it.

I’m with you on this one 100% Normal spoting is ok, but marking cloaked pred is nonsens. Needs to go!

Yes ,it’s awful. Basic spotting is ok, but not when the Predator gets outlined and all that crap.

Or go ahead and outline Predator, just not when it is cloaked or at the very least not when it is 100% invisible.

The outline is ridiculous, no matter what side you are playing . Totally lame

Many newb players don’t know about the spotting and lose continually, until one day they discover it, and all of a sudden they start winning
This throws the win/loss metrics off and makes it
seem the preds are evenly matched, when in reality, they are not.

Nicely put.

Yes i come across plenty who dont use spotting and they are easy to hunt anyway…so I guess they are still new and have not fallen from grace yet. Once they eat that spam spotting apple, they lose their innocence and start a life of knowing abusing a mechanic which almost entirely takes away one of the reasons people want play Predator and not Doom…stealth gameplay.

Sorry for the late message. I play ps4 and so does my friend. He has problems spotting the pred. But for me (not sure if it’s my eyes) it’s a different story. I feel like it’s a bit foggy when they move but if they stand still and crouch I can still see them… it’s just a little blurry around the edge of the pred… me and my friend tried discussing that maybe it’s a ps4 thing… but he plays it on ps4 so we had no conclusion
