Expectations are pretty low. I expect it’ll be balance changes and bug fixes as well as new shaders, QoL changes as well. I doubt the map and mode will somehow revamp the entire game and make anyone who was on the fence or taking a break actually come back and stick around. Also it’s unavoidable but I expect a shit ton of new game breaking bugs.

Anyone expecting a revamp will be sorely disappointed
The biggest thing is the map IMO
Change of scenery is a huge refresh even if it is only more jungle and not Los Angeles 1997 I would call the map warzone
Doubt the new mode will be one I asked for so I’m not expecting anything there
I expect that this update will be infused with divine intervention and that it will immediately disprove all notions against religion and Jesus will descend down in the form of an Illfonic Employee and grant us new map, new mode, and new skins…
Nah, but best case scenario would be like a surprise new predator class, that would make up for all the bullshit
As much as I’d love another surprise Predator I want to play the new map/mode as ft before Predator and that simply wouldn’t be possible if there was a surprise Predator

I hope there’s a level increase to two hundred. That the map is as big as it looks in the leak picture, another 4 month roadmap and a new free FT class to go with a paid Pred, announced for October. The level increase will net us a new Pred too, 😁.
None of it might happen but it’s what I hope for.

Personally I want the one that left Dutch. Save the Ancient for 250 and at the same time 250 launches add a more comprehensive system for XP.
I do want the capes though, I like capes.

Just 50 levels now and then 50 after Christmas sometime. I hope for a better system because I don’t think it’s sustainable to keep raising it.
I wouldn’t want to cause any undue stress.
I appreciate that, yeah I think the amount of XP preds earn per match is kinda bull. Even with the experience bonus perk still can’t get much more than 8000 since last I checked

Level cap to 1000, keep us busy. Add lots of cool shit, allow us to unlock Predator trophies every 50 levels, give us something because I’m pretty sure I should be at least level 666 by now 😈
I’m also hoping they will add more ways to earn XP, but that’s a long run type of deal. Not something I’m actively bugging for on any given day.
Still tying to figure out the best system to rip off and what things can be added. Eventually I’ll make a thread about it but right now I need to get back to writing map ideas, infinite grind can wait for when I actually have time to work it out. I still think it will end up looking like 4 or 5 categories that branch together in unexpected ways. There’s also the matter of what to put on the different levels, should it be cosmetics (that people from day one likely own) or should it be match modifiers?
I really gotta nail OKH down one afternoon and ask about a billion questions. It would make it a lot easier.
There’s no guarantee I’m right about the level increase either, so you might not have to find it out.
PS. VENN, 1000 levels is what I want to avoid, 😝.
