Yeah one player doesnt seem to gun you down, but they can take a good third of your health off… esspecially if they have that DMR sniper

No I have tested with friends in private matches.
1 basic assault rifle and standard mag guns him down with zero effort.
No headshots, no damage output perks, I should not be able to do that, I don’t expect the Hunter to be absolutely bullet proof but as it stands I could 1v1 him with my eyes closed and 1 hand tied behind my back.
The point of asymmetric multiplayer is for the killer to be OP and require a team of coordinated members with a variety of loadouts to compensate.
The second I a human can rush the Predator with a shotgun shouting “Leeroy Jeinkins” and actually kill him is the second he is too squishy.

I honestly wish it wasn’t, even with all durability perks the most that will do is make me have to reload maybe once but that’s if I don’t land headshots and it doesn’t take a whole lot to shot the mask off.
Even without the Yuujra’s bane perk which really shouldn’t be there anyway.
The objective is to SURVIVE the Predator and get the objective done, we have military issues guns we don’t need perks that make us do more damage to the Predator especially when he’s as squishy as he is.
And this is the HUNTER class, not the super fast super squishy Scout the BASIC BALANCED HUNTER!
It’s not good when I have to actively search for players who have unlocked Berserker to get the experience of fighting the Freaking Predator
if you cant win in a 1v1 this game probably is too difficult for you

I have been murdering every single Predator we’ve played against.
I even told the squad to stay back at spawn point just for the challenge and STILL gunned him down.
To be fair if the predator is gonna have such a small amount of health, then we should get more health packs for the pred… at the very least.
I hope some of the other pred tools are better because i just took the elder sword off my class… i tried for two games to make it work, and i won both… but i had to hit this guy 7 times to down him with the sword, it takes like 3 or 4 quick hits with the wristblades.
I imagine the “Fuck you I win” stick still is, far as I can tell all they did was up the level requirement.
But honestly if they must keep the Predator so damn squishy then turn the bits of his model with armor into extra durable areas.
No one could argue that it’d make perfect sense honestly if I shoot the freaking alien hunter in his high tech armor with a primitive standard issue bullet I wouldn’t expect it to do full damage.
I would even be fine with it doing no damage at all but being breakable just like his mask. Makes sense to me.

That would be great, the whole idea of this game is just to survive anyway and the Predator is supposed to have all the advantages.
I don’t expect to win against the Predator, the intensity is supposed to come from surviving and escaping him with actually killing him being a rare thrilling stroke of luck or skill.
The magic is lost when any random Joe with a shotgun can gun him down.
