Apparently its pulled from the predator expanded universe.
I will reserve judgement until I see it, but think of it like this.
The predators have been hunting on earth for thousands of years, looking to trophy hunt each civilisations greatest warrior caste.
In the sengoku-jidai, the Japanese feudal period - the Samurai were the embodiment of the warrior and probably the most sophisticated and well trained warriors on the planet.
Why wouldn’t a predator (who can apparently live hundreds, if not thousands of years), take trophies from these warriors and incorporate it into his armor?
Wearing all of these samurai plates is no different than taking a skull and adorning his armour.
It’s also plays into human myth - especially the japanese myth of Oni and Tengu?
Seems to work for me considering predators are supposed to have influenced human folklore and myth within its universe.

The problem is that just useless content. It’s more or less good, but it’s totally useless. People want some maps, gamemods etc but not skins. This actions from devs mean that OR they don’t have any good content to upload OR they are working on smth. But for my opinion, release the game with no some spare contnet - idiocy. That’s not Call of Duty, everything is monotonous here.

Apparently samurai pred is an old part of the lore.
But what’s killing the game is the bugs not being fixed, and shit like that. What we need is more maps and weapons, after bug fixes.
