First off, I’ve definitely got my $40 worth of gameplay. Secondly, they are releasing new maps and game modes, it’s in the road map notes and you need to learn some patience. The game hasn’t even been out two months and you’ve gotten 6 patches. People are still purchasing the game, and don’t need a ton of new content to overwhelm them while they learn how to play. Also, you did get a movie lore Predator in this last patch, you just have to earn him. The samurai pred will be cool, and I will definitely purchase it to support more new content. Illfonic has proven time and again that they read the forums and listen to us, look at all the patches and the changes they have made so far. So to sit here and assume they are trying to kill the game simply because they release something you don’t like is ludicrous. I believe we will see a map on the 30th or in the July free content update. So again be patient.
I mean if you wanna let the gaming industry cuck you, I guess thats your call. I for one want them to do better. This game was rushed out, and you can tell… I dont mind waiting an extra 2 months for a game release if it comes out with full content…
But to have that content sold to me bit by bit is a total joke. You can always tell when a manager has leaned over the shoulder of a passionate developer and whispered “That’ll do, launch it”. And as i know some developers (not of this game, but gaming in general) they appreciate it when the community has a passionate response of “fuck no, do better”, rather than “Yeah do what your business manager who will never play the game wants”.
that s how a mp games is, is not a single player…is not like cyberpunk or vampire the masquarade bloodline 2…
want more content…they need more money for it…
each 12 hours of development costs money…they need to pay their employees soo they dont starve…
this is why they add microtransaction.
this is why they are selling dlc…
and for 7 dollars or euros…dude…we all know that the majority of players they have money in bulk…let s be honnest…if u wanna support them, u need to buy dlc and the game itself.
and now on epic games the games is 29.99…25%…basicly they reduce this soo the people will buy the game…
and this is how the marketing goes…

True @Corsin22. The Accuracy was altered to make it more dramatic. What I find interesting is that Tom Cruise’s Character is based on a real life Guy (can’t remember his Name). And The Last Samurai does a very good job at portraying Samurai Culture.
I personally love that badass named Ujio Cruise dueled with Kendo Sticks. Ujio’s Actor was also Dogen in Lost!!
And this is why by September this game is another dead game and us predator fans are back waiting for the next game.
To say a game is “Oh this is totally MP” is fine, until they use it as an excuse as to why theres no maps. I mean, I dunno about you but if I was in charge of a game launch, id be super concerned about a games lifespan if we planned to launch it with only 3 small and very similar maps.
I mean i still play the game, and I like the game, this isnt about being toxic, this is about me saying,… unless we want a community of only like 200 forum diehards in 2 months, they gotta do better.

As i’v heard the first game ft13 was a ripp off cuz they didnt do much for it and they left it as unfinished…and they sold it to the dead by daylight developers.
now they have this…this game…
they have a lot of lore, they have sony too, NECA too.
they will do this…but with time.
u dont rush 70-100 people (cuz this aproximate the entire team that they have for now)

Oh I understand it, and ive seen it on a bunch of games, and ive had passionate game developers tell me how it works from the inside.
Theres a manager, pushing buttons, and if it wasnt for Covid this game would of already flopped. The managers set deadlines, and the first thing to be cut is usually the content.
I mean look at what happened to Dawn of war 3, look it up, launched with only a few maps, the whole premise was awesome, but the rush killed it. Same with this… and we dont do any passionate developers any favours by defending the managers who made them rush this out.
According to some folks into the Yautja lore, the Samurai are emmulating the Yautja and not the other way around. @Finessology
If this is retconned or whatever in order to expand the market for toys and other product sales I guess is up for debate.
Though I am also in the club of not being excited about the Samurai Predator. I thought it was originally from some fan film where Batman fights Big Red but I am totally not in the know on this.
I just hope we get some new gear and a sword with better animations out of it. @Corsin22
Maybe they are having trouble with getting licenses for more of the mainstream characters/Predators? I’m sure Arnold/Dutch was not cheap.
we need to understand that there are a lot of problems in a company,
even the covid is one of them…but still…
the games has a lot to offer, soo that s why, they will add your favorite predator in the future, mine too…
new maps, etc etc… they will cuz i can see that…
I mean, sure, ive said my piece like I said to people in this topic, bookmark this, and when they run through their bare minimum roadmap of 5-6 months… and we’ll see. My money is on as soon as they’ve sold 6 skins, maybe another map, they’ll ditch it and work on their next project… since only a few hundred people will still play.

I know, I will buy it only because I’ve promised Illfonic I will buy June’s DLC if they will remove marking of idle cloaked preds…
I was really hoping for Ghost, or at least on of bad bloods from Predators…

Ik it’s your opinion but samurai preds have been loved so much by pred fans for awile getting this will be dope not to mention they can’t add dead preds that some ppl are in love with becouse there dead I will except jungle hunter cuhz it is exclusive and his whole clan where’s the same gear
No samurai pred was prolly one of there limited options because other preds r very much dead like wolf
