Kong lost the second he stepped foot off his exile island. But he really lost when he jumped in water, even if that’s mechaG.
We’ll just get some freddy vs jason nonsense with freddy 1v1ing jason outside the dream realm to extend runtime. Looking at the plot summary half the movie will be Kong and deaf girls journey for the plot device axe

Tell them how it is @Fire! no one would care if its was godzilla vs large unnamed monke that climbed up a building got shot by 1 plane and fell off and died. But this one’s special because it lost to Samuel L jackson and some firecrackers.
About as valid as people that were arguing zilla 98 vs actual godzilla. “Its fast and it can dig!”

Big hyped for the movie. (I’m not sure if the Spiral Statue with the Mothra Wings is necessarily “Canon”, cause that would imply he had Mothra Wings during the Burning Sequence, which he didn’t; he emitted the wings as a part of the Atomic Pulse against Ghidorah.)
Despite that, between having to wade through actual idiots who think up dumb reasons as to why Kong would win and people who genuinely like Kong and know what he can do/has done in the context of the Monsterverse; it’s really hard for me to even support Kong in anyway cause then I’ll look like one of the idiots who say some dumbshit like “he’s stronger” “he’s faster”, “he’s smarter”, like Godzilla literally didn’t Olympic Sprint toward Ghidorah and figured out that Humanity was helping him this time last movie.

Most of the kong fans don’t even realize this isn’t peter jackson kong much less understand monster scale lol. I dont know if they even comprehend the difference in monke design. Is there an actual kong fanbase that picks up figures and whatnot the size of G’s base or is it just big monke meme gang that comes around whenever there’s a large ape in something?
Wasn’t this was meant to be frankenstein vs godzilla hence the magic lightning powers? but they got the rights to kong and reshot it since kong was seen as the start of the kaiju craze & a big deal at the time?

In the movie when he releases a burning pulse on Ghidorah you can just barely see Mothra’s wing outline in it since she sacrificed herself to save him and her ashes went into him
