Balance for private games is really simple to achieve:
Pred health = 130 %
FT damage = 95 %
No tracker
No FM
No modified dpi disc
Yeh bro but even if we did that, people would still complain trust me. U canāt win these days
what do you mean?
Like even if we made game more balanced people would still complain to us
That sounds fair. Whatās the win rate for a very good pred if you were keeping track?
Itās all relative to who the pred is facing and the luck of the game. Because believe it or not the game can actually decides who wins or loses, for example if reinforcements is right close to the team or if there are tons of ammo crates, Med kits and so forth, or a fast mission
Should still come up with a number. Canāt say that itās fair because it āfeelsā fair. Whatever it is, even if itās 35%, thatās what would be considered fair when accounting for FT friendly RNG.
Making an hypothesis according to the many high skill private games I watched and some of the ones I played myself , with the modifications I said above I would say that the the win / lose ratio would be
59% FT wins
41% Pred wins
As Cozzar said, those numbers could change in a significant way depending on the mission type / reinforcements position and quantity/position of ammo crates and quantity of AI enemies
these are further reasons confirming my thesis according to which the game is all in all balanced, it certainly is for the causal game, less so for the private games of high skill (maybe 5% of the player base), but still playable. Furthermore , in that case you have custom settings, so I really donāt see any reason to whine about balance at all.
The randomness mentioned above makes the game even more difficult to balance (asymmetrical game being already nearly unbalanceble)
Thatās pretty decent.
OMG! Iāve played against you before when I was the Predator. I was Acertango! You sniped me in middair and killed me.
Oh yeah, I think I remember that match. GG!
