You nailed it!

I rely on “public randoms” to play–game didn’t appeal to my friends–and despite it promoting team communication, I find myself muting players ever so often, because:

A) the blasters: people listening to loud music, you cannot even listen to your own game–and it is not even music I like :D

B) Feedback ones: they are blasting the volume of their TVs so their mics capture that and return it as feedback noise and delay, then when there’s an exchange of fire…it is like…

C) Talkative people but not with their teammates: I have heard couples fighting over who’s going to do the dishes, people talking about thousands things…yet never said a word about the game or addressed the teammates; this category has an upgrade tier: the screammos: they are “talking” with people in different rooms, so essentially screaming about whatsoever…

D) weird noise makers: they don’t say a word, but throughout the game they are producing some noises like clearing the throat, heavy breathing, occasional uhhg, aghh, psss… :D

E) my favourite ones: angry and mad.
These are the ones that remain silent until they’re downed then man…you’re going to listen how it is the teams fault that he/she was downed, how frustrate they are because the teammayes don’t understand the game mechanics–yet they are the ones that often do not mud up and like to go Texas Ranger, all by himself to catch the Predator…then it usually turns into a wall of curses towards the Predator player, because the Predator rushed it, because he used melee weapons, etc…

I did meet a few people that here and there we play together, but not always it is possible so randoms and muting is the way to go :D
